WWE Monday Night Raw

Nikki Cross vs Shayna Baszler

This. Was. Poor. But then again, Nikki Cross’ new superhero persona doesn’t actually give her the best vehicle to put on a strong match. Although she was able to secure the victory, it was far from memorable.

Winner: Nikki Cross

Rating: 1.5/5

Asuka & Naomi vs Eva Marie & Doudrop

More Eva Marie bullshit. More destruction of Piper Niven’s character. I hated this. Absolutely hated it!

Winner: Eva Marie & Doudrop

Rating: 1/5

Charlotte Flair, Natalya & Tamina vs Mandy Rose, Dana Brooke & Rhea Ripley

Boring. Mediocre. By the numbers. Considering the star power in this match, I was extremely disappointed.

Winner: Charlotte Flair, Natalya & Tamina

Rating: 2/5

AEW Dark: Elevation

Penelope Ford vs Valentina Rossi

Squash City!

Winner: Penelope Ford

Rating: 2/5

Riho vs Kilynn King

This was a lovely change to the barrage of squash matches, with both women working well together. Riho was clearly the better wrestler, as evidenced by her victory, but Kilynn King more than brought the fight to her.

Winner: Riho

Rating: 3/5

Thunder Rosa vs Katalina Perez

Squash City!

Winner: Thunder Rosa

Rating: 2/5

Hikaru Shida vs Reka Tehaka

Squash City!

Winner: Hikaru Shida

Rating: 2/5

WWE NXT

Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon vs Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez vs Io Shirai & Zoey Stark

This was a great match with a solid finishing stretch. All three teams worked hard to put on a strong match and evidence how they deserve to be NXT Women’s Champions. Zoey Stark and Io Shirai won, but all three teams can walk away from this contest with their heads held high.

Winner: Io Shirai & Zoey Stark

Rating: 3.5/5

AEW Dark

Abadon vs Hyan

Squash City!

Winner: Abadon

Rating: 2/5

Tay Conti vs Charlette Renegade

Squash City!

Winner: Tay Conti

Rating: 2/5

Nyla Rose vs Holidead

Squash City!

Winner: Nyla Rose

Rating: 2/5

Julia Hart vs Ashley D’Amboise

Squash City!

Winner: Julia Hart

Rating: 2/5

AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite

Britt Baker & Rebel vs Nyla Rose & Vickie Guerrero

Entertaining in a strange kind of manner. Britt Baker managed to take the victory, but the post match angle of Nyla Rose smashing her through a table was a wonderful sight. Even Vickie Guerrero was oddly satisfying to watch!

Winner: Britt Baker & Rebel

Rating: 3/5

Impact Wrestling

Tenille Dashwood vs Rachael Ellering

Sloppy match, in all fairness. Rachael Ellering was poor, whilst Tenille Dashwood failed to inspire.

Winner: Tenille Dashwood

Rating: /5

WWE NXT UK

Emilia McKenzie vs Isla Dawn

Awful. Not memorable and ever so lacklustre.

Winner: Emilia McKenzie

Rating: 1.5/5

Aoife Valkyrie vs Mila Smidt

Squash City!

Winner: Aoife Valkyrie

Rating: 2/5

WWE Friday Night SmackDown

Liv Morgan vs Zelina Vega

Zelina Vega made her surprise return to WWE, seemingly being positioned as a top heel on SmackDown. However, that sentiment was blown out of the water as she was pinned rather easily by Liv Morgan. Although not a bad match, it really did not offer much entertainment value.

Winner: Liv Morgan

Rating: 2.5/5

MATCH OF THE WEEK:

Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon vs Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez vs Io Shirai & Zoey Stark

This was a fantastic example of the high level of competition within NXT’s women’s division.

WOMAN OF THE WEEK:

Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan once again demonstrated why she deserves a shot in WWE to headline the women’s division.
