Smark Out Moment

NXT Championship Match: Grayson Waller (c) vs. Tony D'Angelo

Tony D'Angelo lost everything interesting about him when they stripped him of The Don character. Ever since he's returned, even going on to win the NXT Championship, he's just been some guy and I hate it. On the flip side, Grayson Waller was always someone I thought they hadn't tapped into the potential for, and I'm so glad to see him holding the NXT Championship. I think he's doing fantastic work and I want him to keep that belt for a long time. If Waller drops it, which I don't think he will, I'll be very annoyed.

PREDICTION: Grayson Waller retains.

NXT Women's Championship Match: Kelani Jordan (c) vs. Wren Sinclair

The only question here is whether or not Kendal Grey turns on Wren Sinclair out of some stereotypical pro wrestling logic of "I was sidelined, my best friend got a title opportunity, I acted like I supported her, but I actually got jealous and now, I'm mad at her more than I was mad at the person we were both feuding with" nonsense. Whether it's a straight up win or Grey gets involved, I think we're looking at Jordan retaining.

PREDICTION: Kelani Jordan retains.

Non-Title Match: Zaria vs. Izzi Dame

As much as it also doesn't make any logical sense why Izzi Dame wouldn't want a title shot, I'll admit that I'm curious, as they at least are acknowledging how that is stupid. My guess is she wants to continue to play into her mind games and the idea is that she'll somehow get more into her head by doing this and then win the title in some other fashion, but it's pretty dumb in my mind how we have Halloween Havoc where it is perfect to do some kind of gimmick for matches and this isn't even a title match, let alone some horror-themed fun stipulation. It's as if WWE doesn't want to do fun things.

PREDICTION: Izzi Dame wins.

Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal Match: Zilla Fatu vs. Charlie Dempsey

Let's see what the gimmick is. Fatu wins regardless, though, because he's the focal point and Charlie Dempsey has spent most of his WWE career as a guy that they don't like and refuse to push, for whatever reason.

PREDICTION: Zilla Fatu wins.

Naraku vs. Shiloh Hill

Again, why are these matches not given stipulations?! The black mist isn't allowed. That's the hook of the whole thing. Why not just make it so it IS allowed and we get some kind of madness with The Fog and that?

PREDICTION: Shiloh Hill wins.
