The following are my predictions for the 2025 AEW Full Gear. Check back for Full Gear 2025 results and review coverage here when the time comes.

Boom & Doom ("Big Boom!" AJ and Q.T. Marshall) vs. RPG Vice (Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta)
Insane how these guys are so popular just for saying boom and eating cookies at Costco, but when you consider how dumb most people are in the world, no wonder something that simple makes them giddy like kids looking at dangling keys. Wasn't Big Justice supposed to be in this match, by the way?
PREDICTION: Even if RPG Vice wins, it'll end with them looking stupid and AJ and the kids celebrating or whatever.
Anthony Bowens & Max Caster vs. The Bang Bang Gang (Austin Gunn & Juice Robinson) vs. Big Bill & Bryan Keith vs. The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd)
Stipulation: The winners will receive a $200,000 cash prize
When Tony Khan doesn't know what to do, he creates a belt or just says to toss a bunch of people into a match for an arbitrary amount of money.
PREDICTION: Anthony Bowens and Max Caster? I don't know. It doesn't matter, so it's whoever he decided to give a win to that day.
Darby Allin vs. PAC
Well, this is uninspired. They're fun athletes, but this is just "I don't know, they keep fighting. Pick two of them" again. I'm sure it'll be a good match, but I'd rather it have some substance and stakes.
PREDICTION: Darby Allin wins, unless PAC is being groomed to be the new leader and to boot out Jon Moxley or something.
Tag Team Match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship: Brodido
(Bandido and Brody King) (c) vs. FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood)
Those tag titles are changing hands, and we're getting that FTR vs. Edge and Christian match again down the line with them holding the belts as the ultimate end goal, right? That's what I would assume, and putting the titles on Brodido was just a means to kill some time with a fun time while Adam Copeland was off filming for Percy Jackson.
PREDICTION: FTR wins.
Trios Match: Kenny Omega and Jurassic Express (Jungle Jack Perry
and Luchasaurus) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) and
Josh Alexander
Stipulation: The winners will receive a $1,000,000 cash prize
So much has revolved around The Young Bucks being broke, but the other half of this story is the potential reunion of The Elite. This doesn't strike me as a a proper setup where they would suddenly have a change of heart and turn babyface, but I also don't see the point in having them win or lose the money element. Frankly, I have no idea what the ultimate goal is here, but I just expect Omega and Jurassic Express to come out on top.
PREDICTION: Kenny Omega and The Jurassic Express win.
Casino Gauntlet Match for the inaugural AEW National Championship: Bobby Lashley, Ricochet, Shelton Benjamin and more
As per usual with this type of match, more competitors will be announced, and we're not going to know who comes out when. That makes it incredibly hard to predict. I also just don't see the point in having another midcard title, particularly after unifying the International and Continental titles. Can we just call that the Intercontinental Championship instead of the Unified Championship, then? So dumb.
Update: Starting off with Lashley vs. Benjamin is fun. I like that idea a lot. That means I don't think either of them are winning, though, and that will be a point of contention that they shouldn't have spent themselves during that opening segment.
PREDICTION: Ricochet wins.
No Disqualification Match for the AEW TNT Championship: Kyle Fletcher
(c) vs. Mark Briscoe
Stipulation: If Briscoe loses, he will be forced to join The Don Callis Family
Interesting...I didn't think they'd go in this direction. Briscoe joining The Don Callis Family could be one of those lame stories where he has to do that, drags his feet the entire time, sabotages them from within, and ultimately wins his freedom, or maybe they just actually want to take the title off Fletcher. That seems less likely, but it's not like either scenario is guaranteed. At the moment, I think Fletcher wins, but I could change my mind when things develop further with the Casino Gauntlet match in particular.
Update: Never mind. Too much focus has been on Briscoe losing. He'll just win the title.
PREDICTION: Mark Briscoe wins.
Singles Match for the AEW Women's World Championship: Kris Statlander (c) vs. Mercedes Moné
Surely Kris Statlander can't just drop the title already, right? Right? Ah crap, she's going to drop the title, isn't she?
PREDICTION: Mercedes Mone wins.
Singles Match for the AEW World Championship: "Hangman" Adam Page (c) vs. Samoa Joe
For some reason, Tony Khan loves booking Page in a match at WrestleDream and then doing the same match again at Full Gear. That's happened what, four times? I don't get it. Samoa Joe is great, but I wasn't feeling this feud from the start, and milking an extra month out of it for another match where Page will retain again just doesn't hit me as awesome storytelling, even if the match will be fun given the two participants.
PREDICTION: Hangman retains.
CMLL World Trios Championship Match: El Sky Team (c) vs The Don Callis
Family (Kazuchika Okada, Konosuke Takeshita, and Hechicero)
Okada and Takeshita can't get along. The champions retain.
PREDICTION: El Sky Team wins.
Four-Way Match to Determine the Stipulation for their Semifinals Match
in the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship Tournament: The Timeless
Love Bombs ("Timeless" Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa), Marina Shafir
& Megan Bayne, The Babes of Wrath (Harley Cameron & Willow
Nightingale) and The Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart & Skye Blue)
Since the winners of this match choose the stipulation for a semifinals match, this just feels so random. I have no idea who will win, because even picking the gimmick doesn't mean they win that match by default, and they still would have another team to fight in the finals.
PREDICTION: Random guess, Babes of Wrath win.
No Holds Barred Match: Jon Moxley vs Kyle O'Reilly
This whole random push for Kyle O'Reilly really surprised me. It came out of nowhere. Neat. I don't have a ton of faith that's going to translate to much in the grand scheme of things, to be honest, as I expect him to lose here and for that momentum to rather quickly go out the door with him either not being in the Continental Classic, or not winning it. But maybe this was all done to set him up as a possible contender for that? Here's hoping something cool comes out of it, and it's not just a goof for something to do.
PREDICTION: Jon Moxley wins.
