This resource tracks confirmed releases, roster departures, developmental exits, contract expirations and clearly labeled storyline firings from that calendar year.

Legend: 🔁 = partial roster exit or role change, not a full company departure.

WWE SUPERSTARS RELEASED IN 2026:

  • January 4 - Brinley Reece left WWE after choosing not to re-sign with the company.
  • January 26 - Tommaso Ciampa left WWE after choosing not to re-sign with the company.
  • January 30 - Ava left WWE after choosing not to re-sign with the company.
  • February 1 - Tatyanna Dumas was released from WWE.
  • February 14 - Kelly Kincaid left WWE after her contract expired.
  • April 24 - Alba Fyre, Aleister Black, Alex Shelley, Andre Chase, Apollo Crews, Bo Dallas / Uncle Howdy, Carlee Bright, Chris Island, Chris Sabin, Dante Chen, Dexter Lumis, Erick Rowan, Francois Prinsloo, Joe Gacy, Kairi Sane, Luca Crusifino, Malik Blade, Nikki Cross, Santos Escobar, Sirena Linton, Trill London, Tyra Mae Steele, Tyriek Igwe, Tyson Dupont, Zelina Vega and Zoey Stark were released by WWE.
  • May 2 - MFTs JC Mateo and Tonga Loa, as well as The New Day's Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were released by WWE.
  • June 3 - Aria Bennett was released by WWE.
  • June 16 - Masyn Holiday left WWE.

WWE KAYFABE FIRINGS / STORYLINE EXITS IN 2026:

  • March 13 - Drew McIntyre quit in storyline, but this was kayfabe and he appeared again later in the same episode.
