WWE SURVIVOR SERIES WARGAMES 2026 CARD:

  1. Men's WarGames Match
  2. Women's WarGames Match

PREDICTIONS (as of 7/8/2026):

  1. I guess we're pretty much at a point where if this isn't The Bloodline or The Vision on at least one side, then I don't know what they'll do, but this is exactly why we don't need WarGames to happen every year around a particular date like clockwork.
  2. The women's match will inevitably be even more thrown together. It always is.

WWE Survivor Series 2025 Pay-Per-View Online Results Predictions Spoilers Review
WWE Survivor Series 2025 Spoilers

Men's WarGames Match: CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns vs. The Vision (Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed), Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, and Logan Paul

I would assume we're getting Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar to balance out these teams. Poor Jimmy Uso and LA Knight, right? Even if there are five guys on each team, all three of those can't be on the babyface side, so someone is getting sidelined.

Until we know the full set of team members, it's hard to tell who is going to win.

Update: Hey, Drew McIntyre got involved. Awesome. He made perfect sense. I just thought he wouldn't be able to fit that into his filming of Highlander.

With that in mind, and Jimmy joining the babyface team, I reiterate that I am expecting Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar to be the two other members added to the mix, probably on Raw and SmackDown respectively.

Update: As much as I don't ever want to see Reigns and Lesnar feud again (#BrockLesnarRule), and as much as I don't like that Lesnar is back on screen ethically, I'll admit that their bit at the end of Raw was a lot of fun and got me hyped.

PREDICTION: Babyfaces win if the plan is to do something between Lesnar and Breakker, but I think that's just me fantasy booking. I'm expecting The Vision to come out on top and for Breakker to earn a title shot out of that, or for Lesnar to be facing Punk next.

Women's WarGames Match: AJ Lee, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley vs. The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane), Lash Legend, Nia Jax, and Becky Lynch

I don't think we'll get anyone else added to this lineup. It's entirely possible, but if they were to add someone like Nikki Bella on the heel side and Stephanie Vaquer on the babyface side, neither of them have interacted with anyone else as of late. They've been with Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez.

It's good to see Lash Legend get a spot in here and the call up. Let's see some more progression and advancement between NXT Superstars so they don't have to wait 5 years to get to the main roster. Give them a chance! Hopefully, she'll have a moment to shine. I fully anticipate Iyo Sky is going to do her usual moonsault trash can spot and everyone will act like we've never seen it before. Impressive, but repetitive.

Update: They did say it is going to be 5-on-5, and Charlotte Flair said she's out. I expect Flair will be added back in after changing her mind. The other two could be a number of names, like AJ Lee or Maxxine Dupri and Becky Lynch, Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill, or maybe even Stephanie Vaquer and Nikki Bella. I guess we'll see which random direction they decide to go.

Update: Flair is back in, and it seems like AJ Lee is, too, though that's technically not official. It also seems like Becky Lynch is going to be the last one on the heel side, though we're still waiting on that at the moment. I'll change the match above if that ends up not being the case.

PREDICTION: I'm leaning more toward the babyfaces winning.

WWE Men's Intercontinental Championship Match: John Cena (c) vs Dominik Mysterio

It sure would be weird if Cena just lost the title back to Dirty Dom, wouldn't it? Then again, it's still weird that he will have wrestled Mysterio in three of his four final matches, when there were other people who he didn't get a chance to step in the ring with. Dom's great, but it just feels like an odd choice when Bron Breakker isn't getting a match, you know?

Maybe they do want to put the title back on Dom, and they don't want to go in that direction with Gunther. Or, maybe they just really like the idea of having Cena and Mysterio again in both Boston and San Diego as their hometowns, essentially, and are okay with repeating themselves. Still strange not to have Cena defend the title against someone else, instead.

PREDICTION: John Cena retains.

WWE Women's World Championship Match: Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs Nikki Bella

Bella goes on a losing streak and earns a title shot. Makes sense, right? Obviously, this match isn't going to be great, as Bella isn't in her prime anymore and didn't wrestle a style that fits with today's standards. The Bella Army will gush over it regardless, and there's name value here for sure, so I see why WWE is doing it. I'm just saying don't expect a five-star classic.

PREDICTION: Stephanie Vaquer obviously retains. There is no chance Bella wins the title.

WWE Survivor Series 2024 Pay-Per-View Online Results Predictions Spoilers Review
WWE Survivor Series 2024 Spoilers

World Heavyweight Championship Match: Gunther (c) vs. Damian Priest

It took them a while to come back to this, and I'm surprised they did. There are a few other contenders lined up for Gunther that could have fit this bill under other scenarios, such as Seth Rollins, CM Punk (after beating Drew McIntyre at Bad Blood), Goldberg eventually, Bron Breakker eventually, etc. But I guess for now, this will be on the undercard, it'll serve its purpose, Priest will come up short, and Gunther will move on while Priest will...I don't know, actually what he'll do, past just competing in the Royal Rumble. I feel like he might be fighting Breakker for the intercontinental title come WrestleMania.

PREDICTION: Gunther retains.

Men's WarGames Match: Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn & CM Punk vs. Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa & Bronson Reed

This would be so much better if it were just 4-on-4. I don't know why they threw in Bronson Reed, let alone why he's there opposite CM Punk of all people. I didn't like the idea of Seth Rollins in it, but at least he made sense to be against Reed. If the whole thing was just to have CM Punk, and not for it to be Reed/Rollins, then why is Reed there instead of someone else, like how they've been sitting on Hikuleo forever?

They should have just done 4-on-4. I'm convinced of it. Nevertheless, the lineup of these guys shows that this has a good chance of being a great match. There's going to be a lull in there when Tonga Loa comes in and when everyone is waiting for the big guns, but by the time it's 5-on-5, people will have fun.

PREDICTION: If The Rock shows up, Sikoa's team wins. If not, I think Roman's team wins.

Women's WarGames Match: Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Iyo Sky, Jade Cargill, & Naomi vs. Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton & Candice LeRae

Well, they didn't need to do this match, and they certainly didn't bother really setting up the two teams more than just throwing five of the most prominent heels and babyfaces together, but whatever. In what is typically the case, as we can so often say, "the match will be solid regardless of the build."

Since there are no stakes, I think we're just going to see Rhea Ripley's team win. Then, maybe, they can use that as a means to justify giving her one more title shot so she can beat Liv Morgan for the belt and move on.

Update: It seems Jade Cargill is getting pulled from this match. I'm assuming Bayley will replace her, but that hasn't been announced.

PREDICTION: Rhea Ripley's team wins.

Triple Threat for the Intercontinental Championship: Bron Breakker (c) vs. Ludwig Kaiser vs. Sheamus

This has been a slow burn of a feud—or, more so, it's been stretched out for a long while without being too much at the forefront to be annoying—and it's worth having a Triple Threat to settle all the scores in one shot. I'm sure it's going to get swallowed up on this card, but it'll be a fun match. Breakker shouldn't drop the title unless there are other plans for him for WrestleMania like fighting Gunther, but I'm not only assuming that's not going to happen, but I'll back it up and say it shouldn't happen right now, either. Let Breakker have a good run with this title, defend it at Mania, drop it at some point post-Mania in 2025, and work his way up to a main event title shot more so for 2026.

PREDICTION: Bron Breakker retains.

United States Championship Match: LA Knight (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Nakamura is off-screen from April until mid-November, shows up, attacks Knight, and 2 episodes later, he's got a title shot. You can't say they really tried super hard, but I guess we can just bypass that. I don't know about the chemistry these two will have, as I can't remember them having any matches together (or if they did, they must not have been memorable one way or another). Hopefully, the match is good, but I think it's shaping up to be the least impactful of this card, for sure.

PREDICTION: LA Knight retains.

WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2023 Results

Women's WarGames Match: Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, and Shotzi Blackheart vs. Damage CTRL (Bayley, Asuka, Iyo Sky, and Kairi Sane)

RESULT: Team Bianca Belair won (Becky Lynch pinned Bayley)
THOUGHTS: Good match with the right outcome from my perspective.

Intercontinental Championship Match: Gunther (c) vs. The Miz

RESULT: Gunther retained by submission.
THOUGHTS: Solid match. The Miz put up a good fight and the crowd was buying into him potentially winning. That's all you can ask for, really.

Dragon Lee vs. Santos Escobar

RESULT: Santos Escobar won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Generic match. Good, but nothing memorable. I like both guys, I'm glad Escobar won, but if you missed it, you don't need to go back to watch it.

Women's World Championship Match: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Zoey Stark

RESULT: Rhea Ripley retained by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Fine, but I still think this match was such a foregone conclusion and Stark shouldn't have been in the Crown Jewel match in order to help give it a boost.

WarGames Match: The Judgment Day (Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, and JD McDonagh) with Drew McIntyre vs. Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Randy Orton, Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins

RESULT: Team Rhodes Judgment Day won (Cody Rhodes pinned Damian Priest)
THOUGHTS: Good match. I'm glad Orton didn't turn heel to make it to convoluted. He got to just return as a huge star and get his big pops that he's entitled to.

Oh daaaaaaamn, CM Punk is now coming out! WOW!

WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2023 PPV Predictions & Spoilers of Results

Posted by Anthony Mango - Monday, November 20, 2023

WWE Survivor Series 2023 will take place at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois on November 25, 2023. Follow along here for spoilers and information on the event's card, lineup of matches and news regarding the pay-per-view. There is currently no clarification as to whether or not it will be "Survivor Series WarGames" or a traditional Survivor Series.

The following are my predictions for the 2023 WWE Survivor Series: WarGames PPV. Check back for Survivor Series 2023 results and review coverage here when the time comes.

WWE Survivor Series 2023 Pay-Per-View Online Results Predictions Spoilers Review
WWE Survivor Series 2023 Spoilers

Add Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre on opposing sides. I don't think it's worth updating the graphic.

WarGames Match: The Judgment Day (Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, and JD McDonagh) and Drew McIntyre vs. Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Randy Orton, Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins

It's funny that they had teased Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis having some kind of Raw versus SmackDown thing, but clearly, aren't going back to that idea. And, of course, this means we're once again not having traditional Survivor Series elimination matches, which I'm disappointed in, as well. I prefer the champions against each other and the brand supremacy stuff, as WarGames just coming around every November conveniently is the exact same problem WWE had with Hell in a Cell and TLC. They haven't learned that lesson yet.

With that being said, look at the group of people involved here. Of course this is going to be a fun match. Even if it sucks that neither of the men's world titles are going to be on the line, making this a rather do-nothing event in theory, it's at least going to be entertaining given the crop of talent competing inside two steel cages with an assortment of weapons.

And before anyone brings it up: no, I don't think we'll see a Money in the Bank cash-in. Priest will likely be too beaten down to try to capitalize on anything that happens to Rollins, and it'll be too chaotic with all the other people still inside the rings.

PREDICTION: Babyface team wins.

Intercontinental Championship Match: Gunther (c) vs. The Miz

The Miz has won the Intercontinental Championship more times than anyone but Chris Jericho, but he's not about to tie that record here. Since he hasn't already lost it, I'm becoming convinced Gunther is holding the title until at least WrestleMania 40, if not longer (particularly as I could see him fighting and beating Brock Lesnar there). In any fashion, I just can't picture The Miz being the guy to beat Gunther after all this time, even though his babyface turn has been working out rather well so far.

PREDICTION: Gunther wins.

Women's World Championship Match: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Zoey Stark

I like Zoey Stark, but c'mon. She just lost to Ripley at the last event. Why should I care about a rematch that has even less star power in it? Wouldn't it have made more sense to have the Crown Jewel match NOT feature Zoey, and then, she could've had her shot here? Lame. This just reeks of them feeling like they don't have anyone else they can trust for this spot, wanting to give some extra value to Stark by sheer proxy of "getting a title match on a big event (that isn't as big as it once was because we can't even get Roman Reigns on it)" and before you know it, we're spending all of December and January thinking "Royal Rumble is around the corner. We don't need to have another opponent for Ripley."

That type of laziness always bugs me around this time of the year, but it's especially true when you look at how little Ripley has defended her title, in an era where Roman's doing that even more. It just seems like they gave the belt to Ripley and figured they'd kill time for a year, as Becky Lynch for WrestleMania is the only other opponent they really would care about. Stark just doesn't do it for me in this situation, as I can't imagine any scenario where she wins, so it's just a moot point to bother. It would have at least been more interesting if Ripley were fighting someone new.

PREDICTION: Rhea Ripley wins.

Carlito vs. Santos Escobar

Cool—and that's not just a Carlito catchphrase joke. I legit think this is a good idea to separate Santos Escobar, turn him heel, and have him go up against Carlito at this event. With Rey Mysterio's injury putting him on the backburner for 6-8 weeks, if not potentially longer, I think WWE has to play around with what to do in the meantime. Frankly, unless there is something else in mind, I would pitch that Santos should have a match with Rey at WrestleMania with the others involved. Maybe bring in Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo to fight Rey, Carlito and Dragon Lee or Bad Bunny (if he's available)? That would suck for Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde, but I can't think of other members to include to make it 5-on-5 (Rey, Carlito, Lee, Del Toro and Wilde) or even 4-on-4 with Lee not being involved. In any fashion, the first step of this feud is to have Santos against Carlito, and it makes sense to be on this show. Thumbs up.

PREDICTION: Santos Escobar wins.

Women's WarGames Match: Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, and Shotzi Blackheart vs. Damage CTRL (Bayley, Asuka, Iyo Sky, and Kairi Sane)

I hope there's a game plan for Damage CTRL beyond this event, and not that it's just "we gotta put Asuka in there because Dakota Kai can't wrestle and we want a women's WarGames match." I mean, that's what Becky Lynch is doing on the babyface team. She has no connection to this at all. They just slapped her onto the card.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, WarGames happening at the same time every year is the same problem as Hell in a Cell. WWE didn't learn its own lesson from taking that off the lineup. But at least this crop of Superstars holds a lot of talent, so there's a good chance this match in and of itself within a bubble is good.

PREDICTION: Damage CTRL wins.

PREDICTED MATCHES (as of 11/20/2023)

  • I really hope we don't get LA Knight vs Solo Sikoa with the idea in mind being "Solo just beat John Cena, and LA Knight came up short, but we all know he's popular, so isn't that such a great featured midcard match?" While it would suck to not have them on the card at all, I don't think either man should lose a match right now. Even if that means LA Knight skipping the card and Solo going up against AJ Styles instead or something. Even then, I don't know if it's a good idea to have Styles come up short. And ultimately, what's the end goal for Sikoa in all this? What does he do at WrestleMania that doesn't feel like a glorified SmackDown main event wasting time on the card? Maybe win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal?
  • There seems to be some buzz around CM Punk vs Shinsuke Nakamura. I don't know if I buy into it in any fashion, but it's at least out there.

This page will be altered on a regular basis to reflect changes to the show including any new matches added to the lineup, adjustments to the card, revised predictions and any other information about this event. Stay tuned for the latest updates!
