WWE Claim to Fame: Which Superstars are Worthy of Hall of Fame Inductions? | Smark Out Moment

Welcome to CLAIM TO FAME — a list of the current superstars on the WWE roster framed in the context of whether or not they would be worthy of entering the Hall of Fame if they were to retire today and not be able to add anything more to their legacy.

This is not a ranking of their spot on the card, nor my personal preferences of whether or not I like the performer. Rather, it's my best attempt at guessing each wrestler's value in relation to being inducted and immortalized as "one of the greats" in WWE history.

Do they have a claim to fame, or are they still working on achieving enough to qualify?

This list was last updated on 6/2/2021.

NXT and NXT UK stars might be added in the future.

A. Definitely

Explanation: These wrestlers are guaranteed first-ballot Hall of Famers to come. They are already spoken of as being legendary and it's just a matter of time before they are headlining a class.

AJ Styles
Alexa Bliss
Asuka
Bayley
Becky Lynch
Bobby Lashley
Bray Wyatt
Brock Lesnar
Charlotte Flair
Daniel Bryan
Dolph Ziggler
Drew McIntyre
The Hardy Boyz
John Cena
The Miz
Naomi
Natalya
The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods)
Randy Orton
Rey Mysterio
Roman Reigns
Paul Heyman
R-Truth
Sasha Banks
Seth Rollins
Sheamus
The Undertaker
The Usos

B. Most Likely

Explanation: These wrestlers will probably get in, but it's not a sure thing. They may have to wait a while or be inducted as part of a group in order to secure a spot. It will likely happen, but it's not going to be a certainty and WWE will be in no rush to put them in there.

Baron Corbin
Bianca Belair
Braun Strowman
The Brian Kendrick
Carmella
Cesaro
Kevin Owens
John Morrison
Maryse
MVP
Nia Jax
Rhea Ripley
Shelton Benjamin
The Street Profits

C. 50/50 Shot

Explanation: This is a toss-up. Maybe they will, maybe they won't. Enough oddball inductees have happened and there are plenty of people who still aren't in the Hall of Fame, so you never know.

Akira Tozawa
Apollo Crews
Jinder Mahal
Robert Roode
Sami Zayn
Shinsuke Nakamura
Tony Nese

D. Probably Not

Explanation: Sadly, these wrestlers will have a hard time trying to get into the Hall of Fame for various reasons. In some cases, it's just that WWE continually refused to push them, so they must not have been favorites enough backstage to get that honor. Others haven't accomplished much, weren't incredibly popular, or any number of negatives (or combination of those factors) and that makes them very unlikely to get inducted unless some drastic changes happen. Keep in mind that this is not my personal preference, nor my wishes. It's my best guess of how WWE views them.

Ariya Daivari
Cedric Alexander
Chad Gable
Dana Brooke
Drew Gulak
Elias
Ember Moon
Gran Metalik
Humberto Carrillo
Jaxson Ryker
Lacey Evans
Lince Dorado
Liv Morgan
Mandy Rose
Mustafa Ali
Nikki Cross
Otis Dozovic
Ricochet
Shane Thorne / Slapjack
Sonya Deville
Tamina

???. Unknown / Null

Explanation: These wrestlers are ones I can't quite judge yet in any fair way. They might be far too new to have anything to assess, positive or negative, or they just haven't been given a proper chance to fail or succeed and have potential to go both ways depending on how the wind blows.

Damian Priest
Dio Maddin / Mace
Dominik Dijakovic / T-Bar
Keith Lee
Matt Riddle
Mia Yim / Reckoning
The Viking Raiders
