AEW Full Gear 2026 Predictions
AEW World Championship Match: Will Ospreay (c) vs. Kyle Fletcher
I don't understand why Ospreay tapped out to Samoa Joe, took a pinfall from Darby Allin, seemed to set up a future one-on-one with Adam Copeland, and then out of nowhere is facing Kyle Fletcher here. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the match will be fantastic, but I don't see how that was the route they took, and I was actually hoping Fletcher would be the guy to dethrone Ospreay eventually, so I'm disappointed they're doing this already and likely making that not an option.
PREDICTION: Will Ospreay retains.
AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) (c) vs. The Don Callis Family's Mark Davis & Jake Doyle
Squash the champions to look good. Champions retain after a hard-fought battle. Simple enough formula. I like it here and there, and I think this is a fine chapter in The Young Bucks' title reign.
PREDICTION: The Young Bucks come out on top.
AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship Match: The Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter & Alex Windsor) (c) vs. Wrathlander (Kris Statlander & Harley Cameron)
Um. Sure. I guess. Let's see what happens with Wrathlander in Blood & Guts. I'm assuming they have a good enough showing there that justifies this match and boosts them up to become solid contenders, but I don't think they'll win the belts. Sorry, girls.
PREDICTION: The Brawling Birds win.
AEW World Trios Championship Match: "Hangman" Adam Page, Bandido & Brody King (c) vs. Swerve Strickland & The New Level (Kofi Kingston & Austin Creed)
This is at least currently set to not officially be a Texas Death Match, but you'd assume that will ultimately change.
They've passed these belts back and forth, so it's entirely possible The Good, The Bad, and El Guapo drop the titles, but I just don't think they will. The New Level can use this situation as a means to split away from Swerve Strickland, distancing themselves from him because they don't condone his methods. Then, they do their own thing as a tag team pair and Swerve can exit the trios division, eventually get himself a match with Will Ospreay, so on and so forth.
PREDICTION: The champions retain.
Anarchy in the Arena Match: Death Riders vs. The Cut
Jon Moxley challenged The Cut to an Anarchy in the Arena match at Full Gear following the October 28 episode of Dynamite. The Death Riders feature Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia and Gabe Kidd, while The Cut includes Jay White, David Finlay, Ace Austin, Clark Connors, Juice Robinson and The Gunns (Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn). The exact lineup of competitors has yet to be announced, and the challenge has not been officially accepted.
PREDICTION: TBD
