Welcome to another edition of WOMEN'S WRESTLING WEEKLY—a rundown of the events which have transpired in the world of women's professional wrestling over the past several days not just with the Superstars on WWE programming, but with Impact Wrestling's Knockouts, ROH's Women of Honor, and even a glimpse at the women on the independent circuit.

WWE Monday Night Raw

The Riott Squad vs The IIconics

This match marked the apparent reunion of The Riott Squad, following Liv Morgan accepting an invite to appear on The Kevin Owens Show.

This wasn't much of a match, as it was all about Ruby Riott reuniting with Morgan. The IIconics didn't put up much of a resistance, with Morgan securing a pinfall victory with a rollup on Billie Kay.

This match was ok, but it was all about the feel good moment of The Riott Squad reunion.

Winner: The Riott Squad
Rating: 2.5/5

Sasha Banks vs Shayna Baszler

This match was a mess, despite Sasha Banks and Shayna Baszler initially working well with each other.

Asuka came down to the ring to attack Bayley who was a non participant, only for the referee to call a DQ. What. Is. This. Bullshit?

For the few minutes of action we got, Banks and Baszler performed well. I'd love to see a proper match soon as it's clear there is potential for a classic encounter.

Winner: No Contest
Rating: 1/5

WWE SmackDown

There were no women's matches on SmackDown this week.

WWE NXT UK

There were no new women's matches on NXT UK this week.

WWE NXT

Rhea Ripley vs Dakota Kai

This was a quality match to determine the number one contender to Io Shirai's NXT Women's Championship. Rhea Ripley seemed to be the overwhelming favourite, but Dakota Kai could not be ruled out of contention.

The match was hard hitting, with Ripley coming across as an absolute ass kicking machine. Kai was able to absorb the pain and took advantage of Mercedes Martinez taking out Ripley to hit a Go to Kick for the pinfall victory.

This match was quintessential NXT women's division delight. Both superstars performed well and Kai now proceeds to NXT TakeOver: XXX with real momentum.

Winner: Dakota Kai
Rating: 3.5/5

Tegan Nox vs Indi Hartwell

Tegan Nox squashed Indi Hartwell here with ease. There's not much to say other than how this makes Nox look strong as an opponent to Dakota Kai if she becomes NXT Women's Champion.

Winner: Tegan Nox
Rating: 2.5/5

AEW Dynamite

Big Swole vs Reba

Big Swole destroyed Reba to earn a shot at Britt Baker. The sheer destruction from Swole was everything it needed to be. This was by far the most entertaining squash of the week.

Winner: Big Swole
Rating: 2.5/5

Impact Wrestling

Rosemary vs Kylie Rae

Rosemary vs Kylie Rae was not the most intriguing of matchups, but they made the most of the time afforded to them.

This was part of the Wrestle House section of the show, which wasn't much to write home about. Rosemary was distracted which led to a Superkick from Rae, which led to a very slow three count.

This was ok, but a standard match between them would have been so much better.

Winner: Kylie Rae
Rating: 2/5

MATCH OF THE WEEK:
Rhea Ripley vs Dakota Kai

This was a thrilling match which incorporated multiple storylines. Dakota Kai looked great whilst Rhea Ripley lost nothing in defeat.

WOMAN OF THE WEEK:
Dakota Kai

Becoming the number one contender to the NXT Women's Championship is step one in Dakota Kai's quest to rule NXT. Next up is a match at NXT TakeOver: XXX with Io Shirai, and if she can keep this momentum up, she has a real opportunity to win.

So there you have it, the breakdown for the week in women's wrestling. What were some of your favorite and least favorite moments from these women? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
