WWE NXT Heatwave 2025 Spoilers and Predictions

NXT Championship Match: Oba Femi (c) vs. Je'Von Evans or Trick Williams

I smell another Triple Threat coming. WWE LOOOOOVES to book people to lose a match, wait a while, come back around, and then win the title on the second attempt. While this isn't the second attempt for either of these guys, we don't know who is in the match yet, and it would be the second Triple Threat between them. I think a title change is on the horizon, but it's hard to tell when the match itself hasn't even been decided on yet.

PREDICTION: I'm leaning toward Je'Von Evans.

NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Hank Walker & Tank Ledger (c) vs. DarkState (two members to be announced)

I'll continue to echo the same things I keep saying about DarkState: They need a leader, they need a purpose beyond just "attacking random people sporadically and achieving nothing", and I don't think they're heading in the right direction.

Hank and Tank can definitely lose the belts, but which two members of DarkState do you give it to? Is this a Freebird Rule situation where all four would become champions and defend it at random? If that's the case, then they win. If it has to be just two of Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, and Osiris Griffin, then I think Hank and Tank retain.

PREDICTION: It depends on the information we don't know yet.

Blake Monroe vs. Jordynne Grace

I still don't get why this isn't for the NXT Women's Championship and why Jacy Jayne was put in the position to hold both that title and the TNA Knockouts Women's Championship only for this to be the more prominent feud going on. It all feels ass-backwards.

If Grace beats Monroe, that's the end of this story. If Monroe wins by cheating, they can stretch it out, even if it doesn't need to be. Given the options, I'm banking on WWE stretching in any scenario that they possibly can.

PREDICTION: Blake Monroe wins.

Triple Threat Match for the TNA Knockouts World Championship: Jacy Jayne (c) vs. Ash by Elegance vs. Masha Slamovich

Wouldn't it be wild if they went through all of this fuss to put two belts on Jacy Jayne just to have her lose the TNA title this quickly? That's not happening.

PREDICTION: Jacy Jayne retains.

Triple Threat Match to determine the No. 1 Contender for the NXT Women's Championship: Jaida Parker vs. Kelani Jordan vs. Lola Vice

All three of these Superstars strike me at this particular moment as "not at all going to win this title", so it ultimately doesn't matter who wins this, as they'll come up short eventually. Out of all of them, the one who would have the most likely chances of actually beating Jayne would be Parker, but that's all the more reason why I think she's probably not going to win this. My bet is they just go with Lola Vice, but they likely will cycle through all three in due time anyway.

PREDICTION: Lola Vice wins.
