Singles Match for the Women's World Championship: Naomi (c) vs. Stephanie Vaquer

Part of me says this is so obvious that Vaquer is just winning the title and that's that. Another part of me says "Well, then why has WWE been putting Vaquer on Main Event and kind of ignoring her the past bunch of weeks?"

If Naomi keeps it, I don't know where they're going. If she loses it, I won't be shocked. Maybe by the time we get closer to this event, this story will open itself up some more for a more solid prediction.

Update: The way WWE hasn't specified what's going on with Naomi being "medically cleared" for her match against Iyo Sky makes me think that she's probably pregnant as opposed to injured, and I fully expect this match to change to something like Vaquer against Iyo Sky, or maybe throwing in Asuka and/or Rhea Ripley as well.

Update: Now that Naomi has vacated the title, this officially won't happen as-is. However, WWE hasn't said what the next direction will be. I still assume it's a Triple Threat or Fatal 4-Way. We'll see.

Update 2: Even though they've known for 2 weeks that Naomi is pregnant, they still took 30 seconds out of the 8/25 episode of Raw to say "We don't know what we're doing. Just wait another week for us to announce another thing that will happen later. We need to take a full month to stall."

PREDICTION: Stephanie Vaquer wins the title...depending on what the match actually is.

John Cena vs. Logan Paul

I had said that this was one of the matches that made the most sense for them to book on his retirement tour, so I'm glad it's happening instead of just the tag team bout. It sucks that both Paul and Brock Lesnar are the types of people in real life that shouldn't be supported, as Paul's character in WWE is a perfect opponent for Cena post-babyface turn. I wish I could support it, but my morals keep me at a distance for it. Cena beats Paul unless Lesnar comes out and costs him.

PREDICTION: John Cena wins.

Fatal 4-Way Match for the World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs. CM Punk vs. Jey Uso vs. LA Knight

There was enough juice to just do Rollins against Punk, but I guess WWE decided to toss Uso and Knight in there just to differentiate things a bit. Hopefully, that's not a mistake where they then have these four still feud for 2 more months and it ends up being a case where they should've built to this, rather than start with it.

I fully expect Rollins to retain. He just won the belt, he's the person they want to build around, and for Seth to be paired up with Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel in October just makes perfect sense.

PREDICTION: Seth Rollins retains.

Bronson Reed vs. Roman Reigns

Sure. Boilerplate.

PREDICTION: Roman Reigns wins.

Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook: Rusev vs. Sheamus

I was going to try to translate this in some sort of Celtic or whatever, but I'll just say that I'm glad these two are having a feud where they just beat each other up backstage, as I legitimately pitched that exact thing for my "What would I do to spice this feud up a bit?" articles and podcasts. Maybe someone's listening? I don't think it's caught as much steam as it could have, primarily because it's largely been in behind the scenes things, and I would have wanted them to have more brawls in front of the crowds during other people's matches and such instead, but whatever.

As Big E would say, big meaty men slappin' meat. Thankfully, it's no DQ, as it should be.

PREDICTION: Rusev wins.

Singles Match for the Women's Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs Nikki Bella

Nikki Bella is part-time at best. She's not winning the title. Sorry, Bella Army. Try not to be "stans" for people as it is unhealthy to obsess.

PREDICTION: Becky Lynch retains.

Tag Team Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship: The Wyatt Sicks (Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy) (c) vs. The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford)

I think it was a mistake not to do Melo Don't Miz in this position. From my perspective, The Street Profits having a rematch means there 100% won't be a title change, but Melo Don't Miz as new challengers could have possibly signaled a new set of champions being crowned. This just makes me feel like they're dragging things out (which WWE is obsessed with doing, because it's the lazy way to do your job) and that someone decided "we could probably get away with doing another Street Profits match and killing some time". Bleh.

PREDICTION: The Wyatt Sicks retains.
