WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS: August 29, 2025
- Promo: Logan Paul and John Cena hype
- Backstage: Bo Dallas, without the Uncle Howdy gimmick, approached The Street Profits and B-Fab and got into their heads about brotherhood ahead of their #1 contenders' match.
- The Green Regime attacked the women's tag team champions before their scheduled match. Instead of a tag team title match, now, it's just Alexa Bliss against Chelsea Green since Charlotte Flair is "too injured to compete"
- Alexa Bliss defeated Chelsea Green by pinfall. No Piper Niven. Alba Fyre and Chelsea Green took out both Bliss and a limping Charlotte Flair after the match.
- Promo: Aleister Black reminded everyone he's feuding with Damian Priest. Priest then had a backstage interview threatening Black in return. This was just a typical "remember this feud is going on? Well, wait until next week again" stall.
- Michin immediately defeated Kiana James with a roll-up the moment the match started. Out of anger after that, James and Giulia beat up Michin.
- Promo: Drew McIntyre called out Randy Orton. They got into a scrap. Orton "apologized" to Nick Aldis backstage by giving him some alcohol, which R-Truth almost took, but Aldis said that he would definitely be drinking it after the day he's had.
- No. 1 Contenders' Match: The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) defeated Melo Don't Miz (Carmelo Hayes & The Miz) by pinfall.
- Jade Cargill has been made the #1 contender and has a backstage segment with Tiffany Stratton where they did the whole "I'm going to win / no you aren't" generic stuff.
- Sami Zayn defeated Solo Sikoa (c) by pinfall to win the United States Championship!
