The following are my predictions for the 2025 AEW Worlds End. Check back for Worlds End 2025 results and review coverage here when the time comes.

AEW WORLDS END 2025 PREDICTIONS

  • The Continental Classic semifinals and finals are pretty shocking to me. I figured there was almost no way this didn't come down to Kazuchika Okada against Konosuke Takeshita in the finals. To do the most important and interesting scenario for the SEMIFINALS is wild. I guess now, it'll be Kyle Fletcher against either Okada or Takeshita? So weird. Some will say that's good because they get to face each other and build to a bigger match, but in my mind, that's the total opposite. Now that they'll be fighting each other and it doesn't even register as the last and most important match, why would I care as much about a second match? The only way I can see booking around that—and I feel like this is me making an excuse for a more convoluted scenario that doesn't need to happen—is if Tony Khan is trying to have Okada get taken out of the tournament by Takeshita, be vengeful against him for that, setting up Okada to cost Takeshita, so he can then move the Continental Championship to Fletcher as a replacement for the TNT Championship, and then, we're still dealing with the stupid problem of why was there a unified title that wasn't unified and why is there both an International and a National champion???
  • Kris Statlander retains the AEW Women's World Championship over Jamie Hayter
  • The Babes of Wrath retain the women's tag titles over Athena and Mercedes Mone
  • Gabe Kidd loses to Darby Allin, I guess? I don't know. This doesn't seem like it matters. Allin just spins his wheels.
  • FTR retains the tag titles over The Bang Bang Gang
  • With MJF being in the mix for the AEW World Championship now, I'm totally at a loss for what happens there. I could see Samoa Joe retaining more than anything else, but if this switches to someone else, I'm down for that.

This page will be altered on a regular basis to reflect changes to the show including any new matches added to the lineup, adjustments to the card, revised predictions and any other information about this event. Stay tuned for the latest updates!
