Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live present WWE Survivor Series 2018 Results

Our pre-show panel consists of Jonathan Coachman, Jerry Lawler, Beth Phoenix and David Otunga.

There is an angle where Natalya and Ruby Riott get into a big fight backstage and it seems as though Alexa Bliss has kicked both of them off the team. Room for Sasha Banks and Bayley, I guess?

Naomi is now team captain of SmackDown's women. She suggests they remain a united front even when it comes to welcoming their new teammate, and R-Truth pops up. Naomi points out that he isn't the team member, nor even a woman, and it's Mandy Rose who joins the team.

5-on-5 Tag Team Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match: Team Raw (The Ascension, The B-Team, Bobby Roode and Chad Gable, The Lucha House Party and The Revival) vs. Team SmackDown (The Colons, The Good Brothers, The New Day, SAnitY and The Usos)

- Kalisto may have gotten injured very early into the match
- The Colons are eliminated by The Revival (Primo is pinned by Dash Wilder)
- The B-Team are eliminated (Bo Dallas is pinned by Karl Anderson)
- SAnitY are eliminated (Eric Young is pinned by Bobby Roode)
- The Ascension are eliminated (Viktor is pinned by Big E)
- The Good Brothers are eliminated (Karl Anderson is pinned by Gran Metalik)
- The Lucha House Party are eliminated (Lince Dorado is pinned by one of The Usos)
- Chad Gable and Bobby Roode are eliminated (Chad Gable is pinned by Big E)
- The New Day are eliminated (Xavier Woods is pinned by Dash Wilder)
- The Revival are eliminated (Scott Dawson is pinned by Jimmy Uso)

RESULT: Team SmackDown is victorious with The Usos as the sole survivors
THOUGHTS: Very good opener. I could nitpick and say certain people could have been booked better, like Killian Dain, but I enjoyed the match overall.

Alexa Bliss tells Charly Caruso that the two replacements for Ruby Riott and Natalya are Sasha Banks and Bayley.

Women's 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match: Team Raw (Bayley, Mickie James, Nia Jax, Sasha Banks and Tamina Snuka) vs. Team SmackDown (Asuka, Carmella, Mandy Rose, Naomi, Sonya Deville)

- Naomi is eliminated by Tamina
- Tamina is eliminated by Carmella
- Mickie James is eliminated by Mandy Rose
- Carmella is eliminated by Bayley
- Mandy Rose is eliminated by Sasha Banks
- Sonya Deville and Bayley are both eliminated by double count-out
- Sasha Banks is eliminated by Asuka after help from Nia Jax pushing Banks off the top rope
- Asuka is eliminated by Nia Jax

RESULT: Team Raw wins with Nia Jax as the sole survivor
THOUGHTS: Told you they wouldn't be able to resist the heat on Jax and making her look stronger for TLC. The start of this match was awful, but the rest of it was good.

So...apparently, according to the commentary team and Baron Corbin, the first win from SmackDown earlier in the night just doesn't count. You heard me. They're not counting that match at all. Why? I have no idea. It flies in the face of logic. It was a legitimate Raw vs. SmackDown match, it happened, and if it doesn't count, then it's an even number of matches between the brands. You can't even use the logic of "it was on the kickoff, which isn't the real event" because if that's the case, nobody should EVER watch the kickoff to ANY event because NONE of it should matter. Title changes on the kickoff should be invalid and such. Absolutely ridiculous. That's the type of ass-backwards stupidity that WWE does from time to time that really makes you wonder how those stupid judgment calls are made and how nobody speaks up against them.

Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins vs. United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura

RESULT: Seth Rollins wins by pinfall
THOUGHTS: Because Nakamura hasn't meant anything for months.

Raw Tag Team Champions The Authors of Pain vs. SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bar

RESULT: The Authors of Pain win by pinfall
THOUGHTS: Drake Maverick pissed himself. That goes to show how shitty WWE still is. And to think I was liking this event at the start...you know, the portion of the show that apparently doesn't matter to WWE.

Apparently, during this match, Enzo Amore was ringside and was booted from the arena.

Cruiserweight Championship Match: Buddy Murphy (c) vs. Mustafa Ali

RESULT: Buddy Murphy retains the title by pinfall
THOUGHTS: Very good match, as expected.

Men's 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match: Team Raw (Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, Finn Balor) vs. Team SmackDown (Jeff Hardy, The Miz, Rey Mysterio, Samoa Joe, and Shane McMahon)

- Samoa Joe is eliminated by Drew McIntyre at the very start of the match
- Finn Balor is eliminated by Rey Mysterio
- Dolph Ziggler is eliminated by Shane McMahon
- Jeff Hardy is eliminated by Braun Strowman
- Rey Mysterio is eliminated by Braun Strowman
- The Miz is eliminated by Braun Strowman
- Shane McMahon is eliminated by Braun Strowman

RESULT: As if you didn't already know that SmackDown was the B-show, you sure as hell know now, don't you? The same goes for how you shouldn't have any investment whatsoever in Samoa Joe.
THOUGHTS: Lame. I'm not surprised.

Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair

RESULT: Ronda Rousey is victorious by disqualification after Flair uses a kendo stick. Flair then beats her down after the match and the crowd chants "thank you Charlotte" and "you deserve it" to Rousey.
THOUGHTS: At this point, I'm just happy they didn't try to make Becky Lynch a heel again by costing Flair the match.

WWE Champion Daniel Bryan vs. Universal Champion Brock Lesnar

RESULT: Brock Lesnar wins by pinfall
THOUGHTS: At least it wasn't a 5 minute squash with nothing but German suplexes like it started out to be.

This means Raw had a clean sweep if you follow WWE's logic of not counting the pre-show match for some reason.

Great way to convince people to watch SmackDown going forward.
