| AEW Double or Nothing 2025 Spoilers |
Men's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Final: "Hangman" Adam Page vs. Will Ospreay
I'd have to assume since Ospreay was the one kicking off the announcement of all this and is the bigger match to do against Jon Moxley, he'll be winning here, but losing at All In. That's not a guarantee by any means, though. Page has enough momentum on his side to win and it won't seem absolutely insane.
PREDICTION: Will Ospreay wins.
Women's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Final: Mercedes Moné vs. Jamie Hayter
Mercedes wins. Title-for-title at All In: Texas. She wins that AEW Women's World Championship from Toni Storm, too. It'll look huge on the marquee.
Rob and Callum on the Smark Out Moment Smack Talk podcast did bring up a good point about Athena costing Mercedes the win in order to set up either Mone getting a shot at the ROH Women's World Championship or Athena fighting for the TBS Championship at All In: Texas instead, though, while Hayter vs Storm is revisited as "don't you remember these two have had a bunch of matches together and we just keep going back to those wells? Eh? Eh?" I could see that scenario happening, too, which is making me second-guess my prediction. Not enough for me to change my prediction, mind you, but it does have me wavering.
PREDICTION: Mercedes Mone wins.
Tag Team Match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship: The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin) (c) vs. The Sons of Texas (Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara)
This feels very much like they looked at the roster and said "Ah hell, we don't really know who to book against The Hurt Syndicate. How about Dustin Rhodes, since he's got all the ROH titles? They can lose."
The story here is MJF, not the tag titles. If he even signs the contract to officially join the group, something happens here, but I don't think it will be that he costs them the belts. Other teams are much more likely to win the championship than Guevara and Rhodes.
PREDICTION: The Hurt Syndicate retain.
Singles Match for the AEW Women's World Championship: "Timeless" Toni Storm (c) vs. Mina Shirakawa
They're just killing time. Obviously, Mina Shirakawa isn't going to win the title and be the one defending it at AEW All In: Texas. Good for Shirakawa to get a title match so quickly from signing with the company, it seems, but I've seen this before and there's no part of me that is itching to run it back just for the sake of having another 15 minute segment on the card. I'm not one of the sickos who can't get enough in-ring action and just wants match after match after match.
PREDICTION: Toni Storm retains.
Anarchy in the Arena Match: Kenny Omega, Swerve Strickland, Willow Nightingale, and The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata) vs. Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Marina Shafir, and Wheeler Yuta) and The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson)
So what was that whole Gabe Kidd thing about? Hm. Is he just going to interfere in this match and then, Hook will return to balance him out, maybe? Curious.
This is a coin flip. If Tony Khan wants to continue this into a Blood & Guts match, then I'd lean more toward the heels winning so there still feels like there's a need to fight against the opposition. If this is a one and done, then the babyfaces win. Overall, I'm leaning toward The Death Riders scoring a win and technically winning the match, while they might not really win the "fight" in a lot of ways.
PREDICTION: The Death Riders and The Young Bucks win.
Tag Team Match: FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) vs. Nigel McGuiness and Daniel Garcia
Without the commodity of seeing Nigel McGuinness competing, this wouldn't be worth adding to the card. That's to say "I'm not digging this FTR storyline at all, I think Daniel Garcia has become way less interesting, unfortunately, since winning the TNT Championship and onward, and I'm overall not particularly thrilled about this, but it's cool to see Nigel back in action."
PREDICTION: FTR wins.
Stretcher Match: Mark Briscoe vs Ricochet
Ricochet's fun. Mark Briscoe is fun. Stretcher matches can be fun. I assume this will be one of the most entertaining matches on the show, but it also depends on if they hold back because they don't want to do anything that will interfere with the Anarchy in the Arena match. Hopefully, the two fights are distinct enough that they don't step on each other's toes. Ideally, AITA goes on last, meaning this should be the first or second match of the main card.
PREDICTION: Ricochet wins.
Paragon (Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly & Roderick Strong) vs The Don Callis Family (Kyle Fletcher, Konosuke Takeshita & Josh Alexander)
Someone from The Don Callis Family gets the win and starts to position themselves as the next challenger for Adam Cole's TNT Championship. Any of them could realistically fit the bill, and I could see all three of them potentially feuding with Cole one after another, actually.
PREDICTION: The Don Callis Family wins.
Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford vs Anna Jay and Harley Cameron
Bayne and Ford win unless the gimmick is for Ford to take a pin to pop the crowd from a gag because Cameron is popular. I don't think there's much to decipher there.
PREDICTION: Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford win.
AEW Continental Championship Match: Kazuchika Okada (c) vs "Speedball" Mike Bailey
I keep repeating this prediction, and I'll keep predicting it until they prove me wrong: Okada and Kenny Omega will have a title unification at All In: Texas. Therefore, Okada has to retain here against Speedball. Bailey will put up a good fight, but this will ultimately be his first straight up pinfall loss.
PREDICTION: Kazuchika Okada wins.
