WWE Power Rankings Top 10 Superstars This Week: #550 - Pre-Backlash Boredom | Smark Out Moment

WWE Power Rankings Top 10 Superstars This Week: #550 - Pre-Backlash Boredom

Posted by Callum Wiggins Saturday, May 10, 2025

Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for oneself, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all

+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week

- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week

Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

10. Aleister Black [NR]

Aleister Black made it two wins in a row on his second run with WWE, defeating Carmelo Hayes on SmackDown despite attempted interference by The Miz.

9. Jey Uso [-5]

Jey Uso's first defense of his World Heavyweight Championship on Raw was far from convincing. While he retained his belt against Seth Rollins, that was only after copious interference from Bron Breakker, Sami Zayn and CM Punk.

8. Fraxiom [NR]

Fraxiom continue to fly since their move to SmackDown, and got their biggest win yet on Friday by defeating WWE Tag Team Champions The Street Profits in a non-title match.

7. John Cena [-4]

The Last Real World Champion cut a promo on SmackDown ahead of his WWE Championship match with Randy Orton at Backlash, with John Cena eating yet another RKO from the Apex Predator.

6. Zelina Vega [+4]

The Women's United States Champion enlisted the help of a returning Alexa Bliss to defeat Chelsea Green & Piper Niven on SmackDown.

5. Myles Borne [NR]

In a result nobody expected, Myles Borne outlasted 24 other men in NXT's Battle Royal to earn an NXT Championship match with Oba Femi at Battleground.

4. Jordynne Grace [NR]

In the main event of this week's NXT, Jordynne Grace won a hard-fought battle with Giulia, earning an opportunity at Stephanie Vaquer and the NXT Women's Championship at Battleground.

3. Nia Jax [NR]

Over on SmackDown, Nia Jax capitalized on interference from Naomi to beat Jade Cargill, securing a one-on-one rematch with Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women's Championship.

2. Tiffany Stratton [No Change]

Tiffany Stratton watched from ringside as Nia Jax secured the next opportunity at her WWE Women's Championship.

1. Iyo Sky [No Change]

Another victorious week for Iyo Sky, beating the hapless Roxanne Perez on Raw. However, the Women's World Champion did suffer a post-match assault from Perez and Giulia.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Penta - Before he challenges Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship at Backlash, Penta beat his Judgment Day teammate JD McDonagh on Raw.

Rusev - In his first match since returning to WWE, Rusev squashed Otis on Raw.

DarkState - The latest DarkState 6-man tag saw them defeat Joe Hendry and the NXT Tag Team Champions Hank & Tank.

LA Knight - In a SmackDown tag match, LA Knight picked up the win for he and Damian Priest over United States Champion Jacob Fatu & Solo Sikoa.

Alexa Bliss - Similar to the above, Alexa Bliss scored the decisive pinfall as she and Zelina Vega beat Chelsea Green & Piper Niven on SmackDown.
