This 2025 WWE releases list is a year-by-year archive of WWE Superstars, wrestlers and on-screen talent who left the company during 2025. This resource tracks confirmed releases, roster departures, developmental exits, contract expirations and clearly labeled storyline firings from that calendar year.

WWE SUPERSTARS RELEASED IN 2025:

• January 31 - Duke Hudson was released by WWE.
• February 7 - Akam, Blair Davenport, Cedric Alexander, Paul Ellering, Rezar and Sonya Deville were released by WWE.
• February 8 - Giovanni Vinci, Isla Dawn, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows were released by WWE.
• February 9 - Elektra Lopez was released by WWE.
• February 21 - Carmella left WWE after her contract expired and was not renewed.
• April 29 - Meiko Satomura retired from in-ring competition after her WWE run ended.
• May 2 - Braun Strowman, Cora Jade, Dakota Kai, Dani Palmer, Eddy Thorpe, Gigi Dolin, Jakara Jackson, Javier Bernal, Joe Coffey, Katana Chance, Kayden Carter, Mark Coffey, Oro Mensah, Riley Osborne, Shayna Baszler, Shotzi, and Wolfgang were released by WWE.
• May 26 - Freedom Ramsey was no longer listed as part of WWE ID.
• June 1 - R-Truth left WWE after his contract was not renewed, then returned on June 7.
• June 2 - Valhalla revealed that WWE did not renew her contract.
• June 14 - Carlito left WWE after his contract was not renewed.
• August 10 - Ashante "Thee" Adonis, Karrion Kross and Scarlett left WWE.
• August 19 - Not really a "release" necessarily, but Yoshiki Inamura finished with WWE/NXT after his excursion run.
• August 27 - Aaron Roberts, Ice Williams, and Jordan Oasis were removed from WWE ID.
• September 13 - Andrade left WWE and was moved to the alumni section.
• September 24 - Jazmyn Nyx left WWE after choosing not to re-sign.
• September 29 - Edris Enofe left WWE.
• October 9 - Zayda Steel left WWE after choosing not to re-sign.
• October 10 - BJ Ray, Drako Knox, Haze Jameson, Jamar Hampton, Jin Tala, Kylie Rae, Lance Anoa'i, Stevie Turner, Summer Sorrell, Wes Lee and Zara Zakher were released by WWE.
• October 16 - Bryce Donovan was released by WWE.
• November 5 - Ridge Holland left WWE when his contract was not renewed.
