- April 30 - Brie Bella and Nikki Bella left WWE after their contracts expired.
- May 6 - Goldust was released by WWE.
- May 22 - Chase Owens finished his WWE developmental/tryout stint.
- June 28 - Maxine left WWE after choosing to leave the company.
- July 2 - Armando Estrada and Kharma were released by WWE.
- July 13 - Hacksaw Jim Duggan left WWE.
- August 10 - Abraham Washington was released by WWE.
- August 11 - Caylee Turner was released by WWE.
- August 21 - Tyler Reks requested and received his WWE release.
- August 22 - Sofia Cortez was released by WWE.
- September 17 - Sakamoto was released by WWE.
- September 28 - Kelly Kelly was released by WWE.
- September 30 - Raquel Diaz left WWE.
- October 11 - J. Bronson was released by WWE.
- October 29 - Beth Phoenix left WWE after finishing her contract.
- November 16 - Chad Baxter was released by WWE.
- November 18 - Nick Rogers was released by WWE.
- November 20 - Donovan was released by WWE.
- November 21 - Richie Steamboat finished with WWE due to injuries and was later moved away from active competition.
- November 30 - Kenneth Cameron was released by WWE.
WWE KAYFABE FIRINGS / STORYLINE EXITS IN 2012:
- May 14 - Big Show was fired by John Laurinaitis in storyline on Raw.
- June 17 - John Laurinaitis was fired as Raw and SmackDown general manager in storyline at No Way Out.
