Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for oneself, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?
Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:
NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all
+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week
- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week
Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut
10. Noam Dar & Romeo Moreno [NR]
The Dusty Rhodes Classic threw up a big upset in the quarter-finals, as the relatively new pairing of Noam Dar & Romeo Moreno overcame the former long-reigning NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom to advance to the semis.9. The Vanity Project [NR]
The current NXT Tag Team Champions also progressed in the Dusty Rhodes Classic, with Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes surviving the challenge of last round's surprise package, Mini Vikingo & Chaz Hall.8. CM Punk [-5]
CM Punk came up short in his efforts to become the first-ever three-time holder of the Money in the Bank briefcase on Saturday, and it is clear that his longstanding issues with Kevin Owens are also far from over.7. Chad Gable [NR]
Chad Gable fought yet another luchador with his Men's Intercontinental Championship up for grabs, this time Rey Fenix, and once again Gable proved too strong, keeping the belt firmly around his waist.6. Tatum Paxley & Alexa Bliss [-4]
The brand-new Women's Tag Team Champions got involved in a brawl with the former champions, Fatal Influence, on this week's SmackDown.5. Tiffany Stratton [NR]
For the second consecutive year, Tiffany Stratton scaled the ladder in the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match to claim the briefcase. The most underwhelming option among all competitors, it's only a matter of time before Stratton turns on her BFF Chelsea Green.4. Roman Reigns [NR]
The opening bout of Money in the Bank saw a rare title defense for Roman Reigns who, despite a spirited effort by LA Knight, retained his World Heavyweight Championship, with his next defense seemingly far into the future.3. La Catalina [+1]
After she was eliminated by Kali Armstrong in last week's Battle Royal, La Catalina put her Reina de Reinas Championship on the line against her. Catalina avenged that elimination, putting Armstrong down to defend her title.2. Liv Morgan [+3]
In probably the most surprising result at Money in the Bank, Liv Morgan overcame Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch in their Triple Threat to regain her Women's World Championship, just a month after dropping it to Vaquer.1. PENTA [No Change]
Riding a wave of momentum, PENTA climbed highest in the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match to secure the briefcase, turning it into a decorative, pyro-bursting version to carry around until the time is right to cash it in.HONORABLE MENTIONS
