What's been going on this week in the world of professional wrestling? On the latest HOT TAGS edition of the Smark Out Moment wrestling podcast SMACK TALK, the panel discusses the following topics and more:
HOT TAGS OF THE WEEK:
The 2026 PWI 500 is out, with MJF ranked No. 1 ahead of Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Mistico, Konosuke Takeshita, "Hangman" Adam Page, Yota Tsuji, Trick Williams, Oba Femi and Gunther rounding out the top 10.
WWE released a "Lemon Pepper Steppers" Trick Williams shirt featuring fried chicken wings around his boot, which was quickly criticized and reportedly pulled from the store before later reappearing for preorder.
WWE Main Event is moving to Rumble as part of a long-term distribution deal beginning October 14, with new episodes streaming Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
WWE x AAA Worlds Collide takes place September 26 at Allstate Arena in Chicago, but the broadcast situation has remained strangely unclear, with reports saying WWE had no listed broadcast plans internally and JBL saying commentary may be recorded after the event.
AEW All Out 2026 has received several final card updates heading into Saturday, including Andrade vs PAC, additional Tailgate Brawl matches and Persephone defending the TBS Championship in an open challenge.
Who answers Persephone's TBS Championship open challenge at All Out? Mara Sade is one of the obvious possibilities being speculated about, but AEW has not announced the opponent.
