WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS: June 5, 2026
- Gunther started out complaining about the finish from Clash in Italy. Cody Rhodes came out to say he's right about getting a rematch, saying they should just do it right then and there. Sami Zayn then interrupted to whine about how they both screwed him over. This led to a fight, where Gunther pulled Zayn into the way so Cody dove into Zayn instead, furthering the issues between Cody and Sami.
- Backstage, The Miz was on a video call with Kit Wilson while investigating Danhausen's experiments, leading to The Miz getting electrocuted.
- After the commercial break, Gunther yelled at Nick Aldis, threatening to get his legal team involved.
- Queen of the Ring Tournament Round 1 Fatal 4-Way Match: Raquel Rodriguez defeated Bayley, Kiana James, and Jacy Jayne by pinfall on James. After the match, James lashed out against Giulia for her interference, so they broke up and fought with each other.
- Zayn was looking for Johnny Gargano backstage so he could vent about his frustrations. Nick Aldis told Sami to stay out of the Gunther and Cody Rhodes business. Aldis then said he has something to do and can't talk to Sami, as he's about to talk to Chad Gable.
- Talla Tonga defeated Royce Keys by pinfall. R-Truth ran out to try to make the save for Keys post-match.
- The Judgment Day congratulated Raquel on her win. and reiterated the idea that Liv is more concerned with herself winning the QOTR tournament instead for some more tension.
- Damian Priest is upset with R-Truth for trying to help Royce Keys earlier. The AAA tag team champions, War Raiders, came over to Truth to suggest they have a title match in the future for the WWE Tag Team Championship.
- Promo: Rhea Ripley's in-ring segment was interrupted by Charlotte Flair, followed by Tiffany Stratton, followed by Jade Cargill and her crew
- Jade Cargill and Michin defeated Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair by pinfall (with Cargill pinning Stratton)
- Fatal Influence were upset backstage over Jacy Jayne not advancing in the QOTR tournament. They then walked over to interrupt Brie Bella and Paige having a photoshoot and attacked them.
- More of R-Truth talking to Royce Keys over the saaaaaame fuuuuucking talking points of "Keys and Priest don't trust each other" that we need to apparently hit on 3-4 times EVERY WEEK. Goddamn, SmackDown needs to go back to 2 hours so badly to cut down on this repeat problem.
- Ricky Saints defeated Carmelo Hayes by pinfall.
- Chelsea Green said that Tiffany Stratton should've had her ringside to help earlier and wanted Stratton to accompany her ringside for her upcoming match, but Stratton said no.
- Vignette: Blake Monroe is still just "coming soon" with no set date announced
- Lash Legend defeated Chelsea Green by pinfall.
- More Royce Keys and Solo Sikoa crap.
- Fraxiom spoke to Rey Fenix backstage. Chad Gable apologized to Fenix's face about the disrespect to the lucha culture.
- Gunther wants to wait until next week to say a stipulation for his rematch with Cody Rhodes.
- King of the Ring Tournament Round 1 Fatal 4-Way Match: Dominik Mysterio defeated Bron Breakker, Damian Priest and Trick Williams
