WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS: February 20, 2026
- Promo: Cody Rhodes was interrupted immediately by Jacob Fatu, who said he had the match won last week if it wasn't for Drew McIntyre. Nick Aldis said McIntyre has the night off, but Drew popped up in a suite, saying he does what he wants to do. He provoked Fatu, who started to go after him, but got stopped by security and Aldis saying that if he was risking a suspension to miss WrestleMania, so Fatu walked off. Rhodes called McIntyre an asshole to end the segment.
- Tama Tonga defeated Ilja Dragunov by pinfall. Solo Sikoa cut a promo after the match about how he's coming for everything. Dragunov went back on the attack, as did Matt Cardona and Apollo Crews, but they fell to the MFTs. Bo Dallas then popped up on the screen to threaten Solo.
- Backstage, Aldis is mad at McIntyre for antagonizing things instead of just taking the night off.
- Byron Saxton interviewed Randy Orton about Elimination Chamber. The Viper was about to address Cody Rhodes being in the match when Zelina and Aleister Black interrupted to poke and prod at him about how he isn't the same man as he used to be.
- Promo: Jade Cargill came out to the ring just to say that she'll beat whoever she fights at WrestleMania. She then had a confrontation with Charlotte Flair during The Queen's entrance.
- Women's Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match: Kiana James defeated Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax by pinfall on Flair [Wow, I did not see that coming]
- Oba Femi defeated Kit Wilson in a squash. Wilson had tried to get out of it by reading a poem.
- Backstage, Nick Aldis and R-Truth were looking at the crate. As expected, Aldis says to just ship it to Raw. R-Truth talked about it being an "Elimination Chamber Award" and then listed some Slammy Awards he's won, but claims he's never heard of the Slammys. Damian Priest then approached to remind everyone how he's in the Elimination Chamber qualifier later, which R-Truth thought he was also part of, so when he found out he isn't, he complained that he wants "bald Nick" back. Funny enough segment, but nothing special.
- Tiffany Stratton defeated Alba Fyre by pinfall.
- Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn argued backstage over how the Triple Threat went down last week. Zayn thinks Rhodes was wrong to get the pin after Zayn tried to help him fight Drew, while Cody says not taking advantage of those opportunities is why Zayn hasn't won a world title yet and the only person in Sami's way is himself, explaining how doing the "right thing" is what cost him the title in Berlin in the first place. Trick Williams then laughed at them arguing. Zayn then apologized to Cody.
- Triple Threat Men's Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match: Trick Williams defeated Carmelo Hayes and Damian Priest by pinfall on Priest.
- People were looking at the crate backstage, with Johnny Gargano laying down depressed on top of it. This led to an argument between Candice LeRae and Jordynne Grace (poor writing), so Aldis booked them in a match for next week.
- Michin and B-Fab are both back and for some reason think it's better if they don't fight Jade Cargill than if they were to just go after her and get some revenge (who writes this stuff?)
- Rhea Ripley defeated Giulia by disqualification after Lash Legend and Nia Jax went on the attack. Iyo Sky ran out to help make the save post-match.
- The Miz spoke to Oba Femi backstage about how he wants to show him the ropes, so Femi said he'll talk to Aldis about having a match next week. It took The Miz a second to realize what that meant, and now, he's afraid.
- Backstage: Flair tells Alexa Bliss that her losing will be okay despite how hard of a loss this is for Bliss. Kiana James and Giulia then got into an argument with them. James said she and Giulia are the most powerful duo on the roster. Bliss told her to prove it. Giulia shrieked. (Yikes; I like all 4, but the writing is just so bad)
- Backstage: MFTs are getting ready to leave, but Tama Tonga is staying back to finish packing. Shinsuke Nakamura came over to tell him that he's being held back by staying in someone else's shadows. He then said the same "let's see if you can win a match without the rest of the MFTs" type of challenge that Uncle Howdy did earlier (because again, the writing on SmackDown is so bad that you can only think of one idea and do it multiple times per week)
- Aleister Black defeated Randy Orton by pinfall due in part to Drew McIntyre hitting Orton with the WWE Championship title belt (before he was chased off by Cody Rhodes)
