After a quick recap of last week’s hard-hitting EVOLVE Men’s Championship Elimination Match, we head straight to the ring where The Vanity Project makes their entrance. Led by our newly crowned champion, Jackson Drake, the group wastes no time rubbing their victory in. Drake declares, “We told you so,” while the rest of the crew backs him up with smug confidence. The promo includes some clever callbacks and historical nods, adding depth to their rising dominance. But their celebration is short-lived—Lince Dorado appears and announces he’s looking for two amigos to help him take down The Vanity Project. Challenge issued.
Match 1: Zayda Steel & Nikkita Lyons vs. Masyn Holiday & Layla Diggs
This one delivered in a big way—packed with athleticism and stiff strikes, it was a match that felt easy to get invested in. Everyone played their roles to perfection, keeping the energy high and the crowd engaged throughout. In the closing moments, Chantel Monroe showed up ringside, distracting the babyfaces at a crucial point. That interference opened the door for Zayda, who seized the moment and scored a dirty pin on Masyn to steal the win.We see Kali Armstrong and Natalya backstage and learn that they will take on Zayda Steel and Nikkita Lyons next week, can they work together?
Match 2: Jamar Hampton (Troy Yearwood) vs. It's Gal
Jamar came out strong, immediately showcasing his power—and then with some incredible athleticism for a man his size. It’s Gal rallied with a flashy comeback, leaning into his over-the-top personality and playing the perfect heel. Targeting the leg, Gal kept Jamar grounded for a good stretch, mixing in some classic taunting. But Jamar powered through, landing a pair of big suplexes and a gorgeous back body drop. A brief scare came when Jamar’s leg buckled, but he pushed through and sealed the deal with an “Attitude Adjustment”-style slam for the three count.Chuey Martinez and Marcus Mathers sit down back stage for a short nothing. Jordan Oasis then gets some time in a pre taped promo we learn about his hard times, it's a bit too real, but good job Jordan.
Main Event: Wes Lee vs. Cappuccino Jones
There’s been a lot of headlocks in EVOLVE lately, but this match made them count with great pacing and storytelling. Cappuccino came out hot, taking early control and launching himself over the top rope to wipe out Wes Lee on the floor. After the commercial break, Wes had turned the tide, focusing on Cappuccino’s head and neck with surgical precision. Still, Jones kept fighting through the pain, using quick rollups and a stiff kick to the head to swing momentum back in his favor. Cappuccino followed up with a half-and-half suplex for a close near fall, then delivered a beautiful "Blue Thunder Bomb" for another. Just when it looked like he had it, "High Rise" caused a distraction, allowing Wes to sneak in a near fall of his own. Cappuccino responded with "The Decaffeinator," but Wes kicked out at two! After missing a big frog splash, the two traded a flurry of dramatic near falls until Wes finally connected with the "Cardiac Kick" and scored the win. Another absolute banger of a match—both guys delivered big-time.Summary: WWE EVOLVE JUNE 11, 2025
