This 2024 WWE releases list is a year-by-year archive of WWE Superstars, wrestlers and on-screen talent who left the company during 2024. This resource tracks confirmed releases, roster departures, developmental exits, contract expirations and clearly labeled storyline firings from that calendar year.

WWE SUPERSTARS RELEASED IN 2024:

• January 25 - Kevin Patrick was released by WWE.
• January 26 - Vince McMahon resigned from TKO/WWE after the Janel Grant lawsuit was filed. He is included because of the significance and on-screen Mr. McMahon character, not because this is a normal talent release.
• February 9 - Amari Miller left WWE.
• April 19 - Jinder Mahal, Sanga, Veer Mahaan, Xia Li and Xyon Quinn were released by WWE.
• April 22 - Von Wagner was released by WWE.
• April 23 - Cameron Grimes was released by WWE.
• April 25 - Guru Raaj was released by WWE.
• May 1 - Scrypts / Reggie left WWE after his contract was not renewed.
• May 3 - Boa, Darrell Mason, Drew Gulak, Emma Maria Diaz, Ezekiel Balogun, Julian Baldi, Keyshawn Leflore, Kiyah Saint, Trey Bearhill, Valentina Feroz and Vlad Pavlenko were released by WWE.
• May 3 - Hayden Pittman was reported as part of the NXT cuts.
• May 4 - Gable Steveson was released by WWE.
• June 1 - Becky Lynch became a free agent when her WWE contract expired.
• June 28 - Dijak, Kayla Braxton and Ricochet left WWE after their contracts expired.
• July 8 - Damon Kemp announced that WWE would not renew his contract.
• August 16 - Bobby Lashley and MVP were moved to the WWE alumni section after their contracts expired.
• September 2 - Odyssey Jones was removed from WWE programming and reportedly fired following domestic violence allegations.
• October 21 - Samantha Irvin left WWE.
• November 1 - Baron Corbin, Indi Hartwell and Tegan Nox were released by WWE.

WWE KAYFABE FIRINGS / STORYLINE EXITS IN 2024:

• June 17 - Drew McIntyre quit WWE on Raw in storyline and immediately appeared on the next episode of SmackDown.
• June 20 - Brooks Jensen was presented as a free agent in storyline.
