WWE Bad Blood 2024 Spoilers

Hell in a Cell: CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre

My God, I hope CM Punk's body is able to make it out of this in tact. Since he's already called his shot in wanting to fight Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship, and I think that will happen either at Crown Jewel or Survivor Series, I can't imagine this ends with Drew McIntyre coming out on top.

PREDICTION: CM Punk wins.

Singles Match for the Women's World Championship: Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley

We've finally come around to the point where Rhea Ripley needs to win her title back. They've had enough stall tactics along the way. Push has come to shove. Liv Morgan's had the belt long enough that dropping it now is no negative to her career, and I think fans are more than ready to embrace Ripley as the top woman on Raw. It's time to start setting up some plans for WrestleMania 41.

PREDICTION: Rhea Ripley wins.

Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor

I'm glad to see this was added to the pay-per-view, though I do think there's a chance it could have been fine enough as a television match, depending on what doesn't get added to this lineup instead. It's too early to go with a gimmick match, and this already has a Hell in a Cell match on the card, so I'm fine with it being a standard singles bout, too.

If the feud is going to continue, Balor probably wins. However, I would probably just go ahead and give the victory to Priest. After all, if Balor wins, he'll only win through interference from the rest of The Judgment Day, and we've seen that a million times, so nothing is different and it would just lead to another of this.

PREDICTION: Damian Priest wins.

Singles Match for the WWE Women's Championship: Nia Jax (c) vs. TBD (Bayley or Naomi)

As it stands, we don't know yet whether it will be Bayley or Naomi who fights Nia Jax, or if one of them will leave SmackDown by losing the tag team match on September 20th. However, I'd wager my wallet that the title shot is where they're going, rather than the "loser leaves" stipulation. If I had to guess, I'd lean toward Bayley scoring the pin, but I'd be more interested in Naomi fighting for the title. Neither will beat Jax anyway, so I'd rather see them switch it up a tiny bit.

PREDICTION: Nia Jax retains. I don't think it's time yet for Tiffany Stratton to cash in, either.

Tag Team Match: Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns vs. The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu)

This is tricky. It's always easier for heels to keep winning to continue a storyline. However, how do you do that in a match where either Roman Reigns or the WWE champion, Cody Rhodes, would have to take a pinfall loss? Unless WWE is really hammering down the point of Sikoa being a threat to Reigns (now that it seems his quest for the WWE title is likely on the back burner), and it is The Original Tribal Chief who looks up at the lights, then I can't see them coming out out of this losing.

PREDICTION: Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns win.

More matches will be announced. Check back for updates.

PREDICTED MATCHES (as of 9/9/2024)

  • It looks like we're getting Gunther vs Sami Zayn for the World Heavyweight Championship
  • I'm anticipating Cody Rhodes vs Solo Sikoa will take place on Friday Night SmackDown, with Roman Reigns screwing over Sikoa, setting up Roman against Sikoa here, or possibly Solo Sikoa against Jimmy Uso, if it's Jimmy who interferes instead of Roman.
  • Bayley gets a rematch against Nia Jax?
  • Jey Uso could have his Intercontinental Championship title shot against Bron Breakker here

This page will be altered on a regular basis to reflect changes to the show including any new matches added to the lineup, adjustments to the card, revised predictions and any other information about this event. Stay tuned for the latest updates!
