WWE SUPERSTARS RELEASED IN 2022:
- January 5 - Danny Burch, Hachiman, Timothy Thatcher, William Regal, Road Dogg and several NXT staff members were released by WWE.
- January 6 - Samoa Joe was released by WWE.
- February 1 - Brian Kendrick was granted his WWE release.
- February 2 - Shane McMahon was reportedly let go after issues tied to the Royal Rumble.
- February 24 - Cesaro left WWE after his contract expired.
- April 6 - Nash Carter was released by WWE.
- April 18 - Kushida was moved to the alumni section after his contract expired.
- April 29 - Malcolm Bivens, Dakota Kai, Harland, Persia Pirotta, Draco Anthony, Raelyn Divine, Vish Kanya, Mila Malani, Dexter Lumis and referee Blair Baldwin were released by WWE.
- May 6 - Candice LeRae was moved to the alumni section after her contract expired.
- June 12 - Troy "Two Dimes" Donovan was released by WWE.
- July 8 - Paige confirmed she would be leaving WWE when her contract expired.
- July 22 - Vince McMahon retired from WWE amid misconduct allegations.
- August 18 - Amale, Ashton Smith, Dani Luna, Dave Mastiff, Emilia McKenzie, Flash Morgan Webster, Jack Starz, Kenny Williams, Mark Andrews, Nina Samuels, Primate, Rohan Raja, Sam Gradwell, Sha Samuels and Wild Boar were released as part of the NXT UK changes.
- August 18 - Eddie Dennis, Saxon Huxley, Sid Scala, Trent Seven, Tyson T-Bone and Xia Brookside were also released or finished with NXT UK.
- August 18 - Jinny, Eliza Alexander and Myla Grace are seemingly gone from NXT UK.
- August 22 - Jeff Jarrett was released from his role as WWE Senior Vice President of Live Events.
- September 8 - Jinny, Johnny Saint and Rampage Brown were moved to the WWE alumni section.
- November 1 - Bodhi Hayward, Damaris Griffin, Eka Brown, Erica Yan, Ru Feng and Sloane Jacobs were released by WWE.
- November 30 - Quetzalli Bulnes was released by WWE after an incident at a live event in Mexico.
- December 13 - Mandy Rose was released by WWE.

- December 12 - Bobby Lashley was fired by Adam Pearce in storyline on Monday Night Raw.
