The August 3, 2021 edition of WWE NXT was taped in advance from the WWE Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida. The following are SPOILERS of the what transpired during the tapings for those who want to know the results ahead of time.
- Ridge Holland defeated Ikemen Jiro
- Roderick Strong defeated Bobby Fish
- Grizzled Young Veterans defeated LA Knight and Cameron Grimes
- NXT Breakout Tournament: Trey Baxter defeated Joe Gacy
- Hit Row defeated Legado Del Fantasma by disqualification
- Karrion Kross cut a promo on Samoa Joe. Kross ran off after Joe came out for a confrontation.
- Johnny Gargano defeated Dexter Lumis. This was a Love Her or Lose Her match with the stipulation being that if Gargano won, Lumis would have to stop pursuing Indi Hartwell. Instead, after Gargano was victorious, Hartwell made out with Lumis in the ring and left with him.
