WWE SmackDown Results: February 19, 2021 Highlights Coverage

  • Edge kicks off the show, previewing the World Championship matches at Elimination Chamber. Roman Reigns comes down to the ring flanked by Paul Heyman and Jey Uso, imploring Edge to select him for the main event of WrestleMania 37. Edge cannot acknowledge Reigns as the main event, but he queries if Reigns wants Edge to expose the dents in the armour of The Tribal Chief. Sami Zayn comes out and flaps his gums, complaining that Edge is assuming Reigns will be WWE Universal Champion. Zayn is taken out, leaving Edge and Reigns to stare each other down.
  • Big E comes down to the ring to join commentary. Apollo Crews says Big E has never taken the time to get to know him properly.
  • Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Apollo Crews by pinfall.
  • Apollo Crews attacks Shinsuke Nakamura post match, before Big E intervenes. Crews then takes out Big E with the steel steps.
  • Seth Rollins calls the attack on Big E a tragedy. He has drawn up a complait with his lawyers, which he will win, all because his return was ruined by a bunch of losers and cowards. He adds that Cesaro is the biggest loser, highlighting how everyone should embrace the vision.
  • Edge and Kevin Owens chat backstage.
  • Big E is stretchered into an ambulance.
  • Tamina and Natalya defeated The Riott Squad by pinfall.
  • Billie Kay celebrates with Tamina and Natalya, but Tamina takes her out.
  • King Corbin tells Edge that they should be the main event of WrestleMania 37.
  • Bayley kicks off 'Ding Dong, Hello' and brings out the Women's Tag Team Champions. They all trash Sasha Banks, whilst ridiculing Bianca Belair for being the EST of WWE. Reginald comes out and says he will not let them slander Banks' good name, adding Banks and Belair would defeat them for the titles. Banks comes out and tells Reginald to stop speaking for her, but Belair comes out and squabbles with Banks. Reginald suggests a 3 on 3 match, which is accepted by Nia Jax.
  • Sasha Banks, Bianca Belair and Reginald defeated Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler and Bayley by pinfall.
  • Kayla Braxton interviews Cesaro, who states that he was not patronising Seth Rollins last week. Edge praises Cesaro for his recent upswing in momentum.
  • Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio defeated Chad Gable and Otis by disqualification.
  • Otis squashes Rey Mysterio post match.
  • Edge thanks Daniel Bryan backstage for inspiring him to return. They discuss how Bryan vs Edge is a dream match.
  • Cesaro and Daniel Bryan discuss the possibility of Kevin Owens turning on them mid-match, but Owens says that won't happen.
  • Carmella questions why Reginald is playing games, but she knows he will do the right thing. She throws her red wine in his face in anger.
  • Edge joins commentary.
  • Daniel Bryan, Cesaro and Kevin Owens defeated Jey Uso, King Corbin and Sami Zayn by submission.
  • All six men attack each other, with Edge and Roman Reigns getting involved. Reigns spears Edge and taunts him with the WWE Universal Championship as we go off the air.
