Randy Orton interrupts McIntyre from backstage, stating he is thankful for being a 14 time World Champion. Orton is adamant that he will retain his WWE Championship tonight, but McIntyre says it will end tonight. The Miz and John Morrison come down to the ring to announce he could cash in tonight.

- MVP promises that Bobby Lashley will defeat Sami Zayn at Survivor Series, whilst Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin will defeat The New Day tonight. The New Day come out to say MVP is a liar, as it will still be The New Day vs The Street Profits this Sunday.
- The New Day defeated The Hurt Business by pinfall to retain the Raw Tag Team Championship.
- Sheamus and Drew McIntyre reminisce backstage. Sheamus reveals a chest with McIntyre's old wrestling attire, including his sword.
- Mustafa Ali and Reckoning state that RETRIBUTION are a step ahead of their enemies.

Nikki Cross comes out and tells Bliss that The Fiend is bad news, only for Bliss to attack Cross. As Wyatt comes out to the ring, he stares daggers at Cross.

- Adam Pearce tells Charly Caruso that Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke are unable to compete at Survivor Series, therefore they will be replaced by Lacey Evans and Peyton Royce. Asuka speaks in Japanese to Caruso, expressing her frustration.
- Randy Orton tells Charly Caruso that he has a long list of distractions for tonight's WWE Championship match.
