WWE Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2020 Results

Eight-Man Tag Team Match: Big E, Daniel Bryan, Otis and Chad Gable vs King Corbin, Cesaro, Shinsuke Nakamura and Sami Zayn

RESULT: Big E's team won by pinfall over Sami Zayn.
THOUGHTS: Generic match that I have nothing at all to say about.

WWE Championship TLC Match: Drew McIntyre (c) vs. AJ Styles vs. The Miz (who cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase mid-match)

RESULT: Drew McIntyre retained the title.
THOUGHTS: Good match, but not great. Nothing memorable. Since we know the ratings will prompt some kind of changes from WWE, I was nervous they would do something here to get people talking. As such, when all three were climbing, I wasn't sure who would win, which made that tense. I'm glad Drew retained.

SmackDown Women's Championship Match: Sasha Banks (c) vs. Carmella

RESULT: Sasha Banks retained the title by submission.
THOUGHTS: Meh. I didn't expect anything better than this. It was fine.

Raw Tag Team Championship Match: The New Day (c) vs. The Hurt Business

RESULT: New champs are crowned as The Hurt Business won by pinfall!
THOUGHTS: These guys are great. I love both teams. I'm glad the titles changed hands. I'm just not as hyped about the match after having seen them fight so many times recently.

Women's Tag Team Championship Match: Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Asuka and Charlotte Flair (formerly Lana)

RESULT: Asuka and Charlotte Flair won the tag titles by pinfall
THOUGHTS: Sure. The match was good enough. Flair's the best person for this role they had created. I'm glad to see her back. Thumbs up, even if it's still rather flat and not something I have much to talk about.

Universal Championship TLC Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Kevin Owens

RESULT: Roman Reigns retained the title.
THOUGHTS: I guess you can call Roman Reigns the head of the tables, ladders and chairs......I'll see myself out.

Firefly Inferno Match: "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton

RESULT: Randy Orton won by just pushing Wyatt backward into some flames.
THOUGHTS: This was stupid. The ending was the worst part about it, too. And yet, the bell still hasn't sounded....because we needed to have Orton burn Wyatt in full. At least that happened...but why did this happen to begin with?
