WWE Super ShowDown 2020 Results

The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar) vs. The O.C. (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows)

RESULT: The O.C. won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: A nothing match with a nothing build. What's with all the microphone glitch noises?

Tuwaiq Trophy Gauntlet Match: AJ Styles vs. Andrade vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Erick Rowan vs. R-Truth vs. Rey Mysterio

R-Truth pinned Bobby Lashley, who attacked R-Truth afterward.
R-Truth pinned Andrade.
R-Truth beat Erick Rowan by disqualification when Rowan used the steel steps.
AJ Styles made R-Truth tap out.
Backstage, Gallows and Anderson attacked Rey Mysterio prior to his entrance. Styles says he should win the match by forfeit and wants them to ring the bell. Mysterio has a 10-count to make it to the ring. Backstage footage is shown again with Gallows and Anderson being taken out by...The Undertaker.
With one chokeslam, The Undertaker pinned Styles.

RESULT: The Undertaker won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: To be honest, this was underwhelming. The R-Truth stuff wasn't funny enough to resonate with me, so it just felt like a bad joke to make Vince chuckle. The Mysterio bit was bland and I don't know why they bothered to have Styles lose so fast to The Undertaker.

SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match: The New Day (c) vs. John Morrison and The Miz

RESULT: The Miz and Morrison won the titles by pinfall after Morrison used a chair on Kofi Kingston and The Miz rolled him up.
THOUGHTS: Much weaker than I wanted it to be. I'm very disappointed. However, that might just be me. I'm tired.

Seth Rollins yapped backstage about retaining the tag titles.

Angel Garza vs. Humberto Carrillo

RESULT: Garza won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Nooooooooooobody caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaares.

Bayley cut an uninspired, generic promo about how she'll beat Naomi.

Raw Tag Team Championship Match: Seth Rollins and Murphy (c) vs. The Street Profits

RESULT: Rollins and Murphy retained by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: I couldn't get into it. The last match and the Bayley promo sucked out my energy and nothing happened here to wake me up.

Mansoor vs. Dolph Ziggler

RESULT: Mansoor won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: A step down from the Cesaro match. It's still a good match to boost Mansoor's credibility, though.

Oh, we're doing the post-match celebration interview/promo thing again. I guess that's also going to be a thing, so that he can always say positive things about Saudi Arabia.

WWE Championship Match: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Ricochet

RESULT: Lesnar retained by pinfall with complete and utter destruction where Ricochet didn't get a single move in.
THOUGHTS: Well, its WWE. Did you think anything different would happen? I hoped they'd at least give Ricochet maybe 3 moves, but I didn't expect it. I really, REALLY hope they have a plan to rehab Ricochet so that he doesn't look like a total loser going forward just because they have no follow-up in mind. If they just have him lose to Styles on Raw, too, you can kiss Ricochet's credibility goodbye in the eyes of the fans until you bother to do something with him. There won't be any good will foundation to carry him without that.

Steel Cage Match: King Corbin vs. Roman Reigns

RESULT: Reigns won by pinfall after a Superman Punch with the chain.
THOUGHTS: Such an underwhelming way to end this feud, but I'm not in the slightest bit surprised, as I've been saying this would be pointless for weeks.

SmackDown Women's Championship Match: Bayley (c) vs. Naomi

RESULT: Bayley retained the title by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Zzzzzzz.

Universal Championship Match: Bray Wyatt (c) vs. Goldberg

RESULT: Goldberg won the title by pinfall
THOUGHTS: Wow. To be honest, I didn't think they'd do it. Now, I'm curious if they put the 17th world title on John Cena or if they still go with Roman Reigns and hope that Wyatt can be his next challenger.

Post-match, The Fiend gets up...but makes the lights go out and leaves. And they give Goldberg the blue title belt to pose with. LMAO.
