AEW World Championship Match: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Brian Cage

Had the Double or Nothing chip turned out to be more of a Money in the Bank style "cash in at any time" gimmick, I think Cage would have used his title shot for a situation where he'd win the title. Here, I just can't imagine that will be the case. It seems a bit early to have Moxley drop the belt, right? With that being said, it seems like a missed opportunity to have Cage lose so early and have nowhere to go but down. I hope they have a plan here other than hoping it'll all work out in the end and aren't just rushing toward something that will have less payoff in the long run than just being patient and booking this match later.

PREDICTION: Jon Moxley retains.

AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: Kenny Omega and "Hangman" Adam Page (c) vs. Best Friends

Best Friends beat Private Party at Double or Nothing to earn this title shot. From that point on, I've been a bit split on my predictions for this. If Best Friends were to win the belts, I wouldn't be super shocked. They're a popular team and they'd make sense as champions. However, Omega and Page finally have seemed to get back on the same...page. Wouldn't it make more sense if they dropped the belts when they were fighting and could feud afterward for All Out or something? Then again, wouldn't it make sense if they had a tag title match at All Out that they lost the titles and could feud with each other at Full Gear, maybe? It's tough, cause I could see some other teams being champions over Best Friends (FTR, for example) but it's not out of the realm of possibility the titles change hands here.

PREDICTION: Page and Omega retain.

AEW TNT Championship Match: Cody (c) vs. Jake Hager

This should be a good test for Cody, but he'll come out of it victorious. It's way too early for him to drop this belt. He's got to hold this for a long time—at the very least, until All Out, if not Double or Nothing 2021 or something.

PREDICTION: Cody retains.

AEW Women's World Championship Match: Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Penelope Ford

Ford has been getting quite a push lately, which was nice to see. That helped build her up to be a true challenger for the title, despite how there's no way in hell Shida drops the belt to her. 100% undeniably, this is Shida's match.

PREDICTION: Hikaru Shida retains.

Chris Jericho vs. Orange Cassidy

This has been an interesting feud out of nowhere. I dig it. Orange Cassidy is great and seeing him get some spotlight against a guy like Chris Jericho is cool. OC isn't going to win this match, as he doesn't need to by any means to still get a rub, whereas Jericho should still stay protected for a while as one of the top of the top.

PREDICTION: Chris Jericho wins.

Lance Archer vs. Joey Janela

No way Janela wins this. Archer's wrecked everyone so far and Janela's more of a tag team guy with Sonny Kiss at the moment.

PREDICTION: Lance Archer wins.

Mr. Brodie Lee and Colt Cabana vs. SoCal Uncensored

For my money, the more interesting scenario is if Colt Cabana finds success with Dark Order, so I'll go with them being victorious. However, the opposite wouldn't shock me just to have Cabana reject Dark Order and fight against them going forward.

PREDICTION: Mr. Brodie Lee and Colt Cabana win.

FTR and The Young Bucks vs. Lucha Bros and The Butcher and The Blade

There is no way FTR and The Young Bucks lose this. I don't even think they'll do a "FTR turns on Young Bucks and that's why they lose" scenario. They win, then they fight at another time.

PREDICTION: FTR and The Young Bucks win.

MJF and Wardlow vs. Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy

MJF hasn't really lost so far. While it wouldn't be the craziest thing for him to take a tag team loss, his partner, Wardlow, isn't exactly the guy to pin, either.

PREDICTION: MJF and Wardlow win.

Private Party vs. Santana and Ortiz

Filler match. Does Matt Hardy help Private Party get the win, or does The Inner Circle reestablish some more dominance? I'll go with the former.

PREDICTION: Private Party wins.
