Smark Out Moment

The WWE SMACKVILLE 2019 pay-per-view is scheduled for Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Follow along here for spoilers and information on the event's card, lineup of matches and news regarding the pay-per-view.

The following are my predictions for the 2019 WWE SMACKVILLE PPV. Check back for SMACKVILLE 2019 results and review coverage here when the time comes.

WWE SMACKVILLE 2019 Spoilers

WWE Championship Triple Threat Match: Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Samoa Joe vs. Dolph Ziggler

Randy Orton beat Kofi Kingston on SmackDown. That seems to be the direction they're going for SummerSlam. There's no reason at all for Kingston to drop the title here of all places, against Joe or Ziggler, who he's already beaten.

PREDICTION: Kofi Kingston retains the title.

Musical Performance by Elias

It's Nashville. He can easily insult the music from that area. Maybe Jeff Jarrett will do something with him.

PREDICTION: n/a

Intercontinental Championship Match: Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Finn Balor

Curious why they did the Bray Wyatt attack and seemingly wrote Balor off television, only to book this rematch. Perhaps they're keeping Balor around long enough for he and Wyatt to have a match at SummerSlam and that's when he'll take time off? Maybe Wyatt will attack him here and that will be when they write him off?

In any fashion, I don't think there's much of a chance at all that Balor wins this match. They teased Ali against Nakamura for a reason (hopefully) and that will be the Intercontinental Championship match for SummerSlam, not Balor against Wyatt with that belt on the line.

PREDICTION: Shinsuke Nakamura retains the title.

SmackDown Women's Championship Triple Threat Match: Bayley (c) vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Charlotte Flair

At least Flair is there and it isn't just another Bayley/Bliss rematch, right? I still have virtually no interest in this, though.

PREDICTION: Bayley retains the title.

SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match: The New Day (c) vs. TBA

Nothing to talk about until we know the opponents.

PREDICTION: The New Day retain the titles.
