EVOLVE 131 Spoilers

NXT Championship Match: Adam Cole (c) vs. Akira Tozawa

Look, this will be super fun and something very different, and it's awesome that Akira Tozawa is getting a random NXT title shot, but there is no way he walks out of this event, of all places, with the NXT Championship. It's just not happening. Not at all. Not a chance. But it will be cool to watch.

PREDICTION: Adam Cole retains the title.

(Non-Title) Catch Point Reunion Match: Matt Riddle vs. Drew Gulak

They specified that the Cruiserweight Championship is not on the line. Not that Matt Riddle should be eligible to win that anyway, as he's not under 205 (billed at 216), but not only is that something that somewhat spoils the ending most of the time, he's also the babyface with the better win/loss record who has beaten Gulak before.

PREDICTION: Matt Riddle wins.

The Future is Now Showcase Match: Josh Briggs vs. Anthony Greene with Brandi Lauren

I have no idea who either of these guys are.

PREDICTION: Flip a coin.

Winner Take All: EVOLVE Champion Austin Theory vs. WWN Champion JD Drake

I've heard the names before, but I don't know anything really about them. Sorry. I'll go with Austin Theory as the champion based solely on the idea that I've heard his name more and he's the EVOLVE champion, which makes more sense to combine.

PREDICTION: Austin Theory wins both titles.

EVOLVE Tag Team Championship Match: Eddie Kingston and Joe Gacy (c) vs. AR Fox and Leon Ruff with Ayla and The Skulk

Buhh....

PREDICTION: Flip a coin.

Grudge Match: Anthony Henry vs. Arturo Ruas

Unless Anthony Henry is someone who they really want to push, I'd give the edge to the NXT guy, Arturo Ruas, who you may know by his former name, Adrian Jaoude.

PREDICTION: Arturo Ruas

Special Challenge Match: Babatunde vs. Colby Corino

Babatunde is huge. Colby Corino isn't.

PREDICTION: Babatunde wins.

Fatal 4-Way Match: Curt Stallion vs. Sean Maluta vs. Stephen Wolf vs. Harlem Bravado

Sean Maluta is the only one of these I'm familiar with, so I'll go with him for that reason and that reason alone, which is definitely not something to bet on.

PREDICTION: Sean Maluta wins.
