WWE Title Change: New NXT North American Champion Crowned at TakeOver: Phoenix

The WWE NXT North American Championship has changed hands as Johnny Gargano defeated Ricochet to win the title at TakeOver: Phoenix on January 26, 2019.

My immediate reaction: Fantastic match and I think it makes a lot of sense for Gargano to win this title. Not only had Ricochet held it long enough that a new champion made sense, but after an entire year of not winning any titles, Gargano needed something to legitimize himself a bit more. Well deserved. I'm curious if it goes to Velveteen Dream, Keith Lee or Matt Riddle next, and when. I'm assuming maybe around November's pre-Survivor Series event.
