WWE Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2019 Results

Kickoff: Andrade vs. Humberto Carrillo

RESULT: Humberto Carrillo won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Why was this match on the card when we didn't have either midcard belt on the line, AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton (or Drew McIntyre vs. Orton, for that matter), Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens, Bayley against Lacey Evans, etc? The match itself was fine, but I don't get why they put this on there.

The show starts with a Firefly Fun House. Bray Wyatt is reflective of this year. Did people make friends or enemies? Did they hurt or heal? Were they naughty or nice? Regardless, in the end, everyone is the same. We're all human and make mistakes. Everyone needs a little TLC.

SmackDown Tag Team Championship Ladder Match: The New Day (c) vs. The Revival

RESULT: The New Day retained the titles
THOUGHTS: Rock solid. Good way to open the show.

Let's recap the kickoff, cause that was super important. You know, if this were really all that important, you'd think it would have been on the main card. Just saying.

Aleister Black vs. Buddy Murphy

RESULT: Aleister Black won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Underwhelming. These two had it in them to put on a match 5x better, easily. I don't know what was up with them tonight, but this was slow and rather boring for the first half of it.

Rusev is interviewed by Charly Caruso. He's elated that when Lana marries Lashley, he won't have to pay alimony.

Recap of the Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins thing (for I think the third time tonight? It's almost as if maybe you should've booked that on this card that was missing a lot of things, rather than trying to stall and stretch this out for another whole month...)

Raw Tag Team Championship Match: The Viking Raiders (c) vs. The O.C.

RESULT: Double count out.
THOUGHTS: Good lord. This...was....shit. It's just The O.C. They spend the whole match advertising KFC. They end in a double count-out. Whoever booked this should be fired.

After the match, The Viking Raiders put Karl Anderson through the table that the KFC people were eating at.

Garbage. Both this segment and KFC.

The Miz talks to Kayla Braxton. Blah blah. This is an important match. He's willing to face anyone or anything. Etc etc etc. Yadda yadda yadda. You didn't miss anything.

TLC Match: Roman Reigns vs. King Corbin

RESULT: King Corbin won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Lame. Boring. Don't bother watching this, if you skipped it.

Bray Wyatt vs. The Miz

RESULT: Bray Wyatt won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Slow. Boring. Exactly the same type of match we've seen Wyatt wrestling recently, but without any weapons. GODDAMN IT, WWE. This event is so bad. Why was this non-title, by the way?

The Fiend appears on the TitanTron. Still image. Wyatt says "okay, I'll do it" and brings out his giant Harley Quinn mallet, which Michael Cole for some reason doesn't remember. Daniel Bryan makes the save. He's shaved his head and trimmed his beard (good).

The post-show podcast about this event is definitely going to contain lots of ranting from me, so stay tuned and check it out on YouTube, iTunes, Stitcher or elsewhere.

Tables Match: Rusev vs. Bobby Lashley

RESULT: Bobby Lashley won.
THOUGHTS: Noooooobooooody caaaaaares.

Backstage, suddenly, Roman Reigns has backup in Shorty G and The New Day. For some reason, Buddy Murphy is fighting with Shorty G. I get The Revival vs. The New Day and Corbin vs Reigns, but why are Shorty G and Buddy Murphy fighting?

Women's Tag Team Championship TLC Match: The Kabuki Warriors (c) vs. Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair

RESULT: The Kabuki Warriors retained the titles.
THOUGHTS: Very good match. If the rest of the card (or even half of it) had been this good, there wouldn't be anything to complain about.

Roman Reigns, Baron Corbin and other people then brawled to end the show, as if this was an episode of SmackDown.
