WWE Payback 2015 Spoilers

WWE Payback 2015 Fatal 4-Way World Title Match

[WWE World Heavyweight Championship]: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton vs. Dean Ambrose

With the addition of Dean Ambrose to this match, this got a lot more interesting. I still think it's a guarantee that Seth Rollins leaves with the title, so that hasn't changed. However, I was thinking before that Reigns would spear Orton and Rollins would capitalize for the victory by pinning him and stealing it away, setting up a singles match between Reigns and Rollins. Ambrose's involvement makes that harder to happen, although it isn't impossible.

PREDICTION: Seth Rollins retains.

John Cena I Quit Match Rusev Payback 2015 Event

[United States Championship - I Quit Match]: John Cena (c) vs. Rusev

I didn't like their Fastlane match, nor their WrestleMania match, nor their Extreme Rules match. There's no reason for me to think I'll enjoy this one. I'm so past this feud, it's ridiculous.

PREDICTION: John Cena retains.

Sheamus and Dolph Ziggler Payback 2015 PPV event

 Sheamus vs. Dolph Ziggler

Remember how the Kiss Me Arse match was a dumb idea? Well, here's another dumb one: doing a generic rematch like this. There's nothing at stake (not that it matters anyway, as they wouldn't follow through with it) and there's nothing that we haven't seen before. This is just stalling. This whole pay-per-view is just a rushed rematch job.

PREDICTION: Sheamus wins.

WWE Payback Neville vs Barrett 2015 PPV

Bad News Barrett vs. Neville

Copy and paste what I said about Sheamus and Dolph Ziggler.

PREDICTION: King Barrett wins.

The New Day vs Tyson Kidd Cesaro Payback 2015 2 out of 3 Falls Match

[Tag Team Championship 2-Out-of-3-Falls Match]: The New Day (c) vs. Tyson Kidd & Cesaro

This should be one of the best matches of the night, considering the track record of these two teams. Hopefully, the stipulation will also mean that it will be given adequate time, too. I'm looking forward to it and I'm hoping The New Day comes out retaining the titles.

PREDICTION: New Day rocks.

WWE Payback 2015 PPV Kickoff Pre-Show Match Axelmania Macho Mandow

[Pre-Show Kickoff]: Axelmania & Macho Mandow vs. The Ascension

This is such a throwaway silly match, and it's actually the match that I'm most excited to see outside of the main event! Curtis Axel doing his Axelmania gimmick and Damien Sandow doing Macho Mandow teaming up as the Mega Powers? So stupid that I love it, and having them face off against the team that is basically ripping off a combination of Demolition and The Road Warriors / Legion of Doom...thumbs up indeed.

PREDICTION: Axelmania and Macho Mandow win.

WWE Payback 2015 Divas Tag Team Match Bella Twins vs Naomi and Tamina Snuka

The Bella Twins vs. Naomi & Tamina

This match has been announced according to SmackDown spoilers, but WWE's website doesn't have it officially listed yet. It kind of makes sense to do this, as Payback is being treated just as nothing but rematches and filler to waste time before Money in the Bank, and I wouldn't have expected anything else. As soon as Tamina came into play (which I'm fond of, by the way), I called that this would be a tag match instead of anything involving the championship. Then, at Money in the Bank, we'll be getting our triple threat between Nikki, Naomi and Paige most likely.

PREDICTION: Naomi and Tamina win unless Paige interferes.

WWE Payback 2015 Bray Wyatt vs Ryback Match

Ryback vs. Bray Wyatt

This feud has been extremely lazy so far and WWE didn't even put any effort into announcing the match on Raw. It ended up being confirmed on a random "breaking news" update on the website. That goes to show how important it will be as a midcard filler match. Blah. I don't care and I doubt many other people do.

PREDICTION: Bray Wyatt wins.
