This list keeps track of the babyface turns and heel turns that happened in WWE throughout 2014.
KEEP IN MIND: When a babyface attacks another babyface, that is usually a heel turn. When a heel attacks another heel, it does not automatically make the victim a babyface. Follow-up booking determines whether an actual turn happened.
Also, sometimes, I update the heel and face index, but not as often as the updates you see below.
WWE HEEL AND FACE TURNS IN 2014:
- January 13 - Daniel Bryan turned babyface on Raw by turning on Bray Wyatt inside a steel cage and rejecting The Wyatt Family after briefly joining Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan.
- January 13 - The New Age Outlaws turned heel on Raw by abandoning CM Punk during a tag team match against The Shield, which led into Billy Gunn and Road Dogg aligning more closely with The Authority.
- January 31 - Titus O'Neil turned heel on SmackDown by attacking Darren Young after a tag team loss, breaking up The Prime Time Players.
- February 17 - Christian turned heel on Raw by attacking Daniel Bryan before their match, shifting into a more desperate villain role during his final active WWE run.
- February 28 - Batista turned heel on SmackDown by leaning into the negative fan reaction to his return and openly rejecting the crowd before his WrestleMania XXX title program.
- March 17 - The Shield turned babyface on Raw by moving into a feud with Kane and The Authority. This applies to Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.
- June 2 - Seth Rollins turned heel on Raw by attacking Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns with a chair, breaking up The Shield and joining Triple H and The Authority.
- June 19 - Tyson Kidd turned heel on NXT by walking out on Sami Zayn during an NXT Tag Team Championship match against The Ascension.
- June 23 - Vickie Guerrero turned babyface on Raw during her farewell segment by getting revenge on Stephanie McMahon and leaving WWE to a positive reaction.
- June 30 - The Miz turned heel on Raw by returning with the Hollywood A-Lister persona and immediately presenting himself as an arrogant villain again.
- June 30 - AJ Lee turned babyface on Raw by returning, challenging Paige and defeating her for the Divas Championship.
- June 30 - Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter turned babyface on Raw by confronting Rusev and Lana and starting a pro-America feud against them.
- July 3 - Justin Gabriel turned heel on NXT by joining Tyson Kidd in a post-match attack on Sami Zayn.
- July 7 - Cameron turned heel on Raw by attacking Naomi after their Funkadactyls partnership broke down.
- July 21 - Paige turned heel on Raw by attacking AJ Lee after they had teamed together, escalating their Divas Championship feud.
- August 17 - Nikki Bella turned heel at SummerSlam by attacking Brie Bella and helping Stephanie McMahon beat Brie.
- August 25 - Goldust and Stardust turned heel on Raw by attacking The Usos after failing to win the WWE Tag Team Championship.
- October 2 - Charlotte turned babyface on NXT by showing respect to Bayley after their NXT Women's Championship match.
- October 23 - Becky Lynch turned heel on NXT by attacking Bayley and aligning with Sasha Banks.
- October 27 - Mark Henry turned heel on Raw by attacking Big Show after they lost a tag team match to Goldust and Stardust.
- October 27 - Randy Orton began turning babyface on Raw by attacking Seth Rollins and clashing with The Authority after growing frustrated with Rollins.
- October 27 - Ryback turned babyface on Raw by returning to the Feed Me More character and being presented as a fan favorite again.
- November 17 - Erick Rowan turned babyface on Raw by joining Team Cena for Survivor Series against The Authority.
- November 23 - Big Show turned heel at Survivor Series by knocking out John Cena during the main event elimination match and walking out to help The Authority.
- November 23 - Brie Bella turned heel at Survivor Series by helping Nikki Bella defeat AJ Lee for the Divas Championship.
- December 11 - Kevin Owens turned heel at NXT TakeOver: R Evolution by attacking Sami Zayn after Zayn had won the NXT Championship.
- December 22 - Adam Rose turned heel on Raw by snapping after a quick loss to R-Truth and attacking The Bunny.
