WWE Extreme Rules 2012 PPV - the time of the year where every match has a stipulation attached to it and they tend to hash out the end of the feuds from WrestleMania. This is typically a fun pay-per-view, but a very haphazard and sometimes poorly booked one. Extreme Rules 2012 results will be posted here.

Watch Extreme Rules 2012 PPV Online Cena Lesnar

Extreme Rules: Brock Lesnar vs John Cena
By the way, I hate how they say "Extreme Rules Match" when the pay-per-view is called Extreme Rules. They really should just call it a No Disqualification match. That's what it is. And it's a shame we're getting two of these generic matches on the card instead of some differences. This match benefits from the stipulation and it's what I would have went for - I'm just criticizing the naming of it as well as how they couldn't think of anything different for the Punk vs Jericho match. to counteract it. Anyway, I didn't see this feud coming originally, but it's very interesting now that it's here. I fully expect Cena to be on the losing end as Lesnar can't come into the company and job out.

PREDICTION: Brock Lesnar wins, no doubt.

Watch Extreme Rules 2012 Punk vs Jericho WWE Championship

WWE Championship [Chicago Street Fight]: CM Punk (c) vs. Chris Jericho
Couldn't have been something different, just a normal No-DQ match with a different name to it? Stupid. I expected them to think of something better - but I guess this makes sense seeing as how everything Jericho's done in WWE since his return videos started coming out has been lackluster in my opinion. They just don't seem to be putting any thought into it. The match should be decent if not good, but I'm already starting on a downer because of the generic stipulation attached.

PREDICTION: CM Punk retains.

World Heavyweight Championship 2 out of 3 falls Sheamus Daniel Bryan

World Heavyweight Championship [2 Out of 3 Falls Match]: Sheamus (c) vs Daniel Bryan
I'm surprised at their choice for this match, but then again, maybe they're doing it to make it seem like an official ending to the feud so they can go right into Sheamus vs Del Rio, which they clearly are more interested in. Don't be too surprised if Sheamus wins the first 2 falls and Bryan gets none. More than likely, that won't happen, as WWE rarely ever does that in a 3-falls match, but it's definitely something that could happen with this match. My guess is Sheamus wins with the Brogue Kick once and another time, he wins with the White Noise.

PREDICTION: Sheamus wins, no doubt.

Watch Extreme Rules PPV Online Free Stream Orton vs Kane

Falls Count Anywhere: Randy Orton vs. Kane
Naturally they needed another match between the two. It's a shame they did the no-disqualification match between them on Smackdown because now, there's really nothing they can do that can seem interesting unless they go all out - which WWE tends not to do on the lower matches on the card. I fully expect this to be the last match these two have together. Hopefully, that's the case, as this feud has been incredibly bland.

PREDICTION: Randy Orton wins.

Watch Big Show vs Cody Rhodes Extreme Rules 2012 PPV

Intercontinental Championship [???]: Big Show (c) vs. Cody Rhodes
The stipulation hasn't been announced yet, which could be the real factor in this. My guess is they just haven't bothered to think of one yet because they're only doing this to stall. Big Show could easily drop the title, but Cody seems kind of above it at the moment, doesn't he? Maybe that's just my opinion and everyone would disagree with me, but I'd like to see Cody stick around the upper midcard with or without the title, and honestly, if they've got a plan for who can take the title off Show, I'd like that to happen instead of Cody winning it back and them not giving him focus. It all depends, and the quality of this match depends on the stipulation as well.

PREDICTION: Big Show retains.

Extreme Rules 2012 United States Championship Miz Santino Marella

United States Championship [Pre-Show Match]: Santino Marella (c) vs. The Miz
Remember when they used to call this the "Free for All" match? I liked that better, but I'm VERY glad that they're doing this. They should have been doing this for years. We don't need more recap before the show, just do a dark match so to speak. It could get people to buy the ppv if they see something interesting for free ahead of time. Anyway, this is a weird match, and I don't think anything particularly interesting will happen in it. My guess is Santino just wins and that's it.

PREDICTION: Santino retains.

Watch Nikki Bella vs Beth Phoenix online Extreme Rules 2012 PPV

Divas Championship: Nikki Bella (c) vs. Beth Phoenix
Something's happening here. Kharma either returns and destroys Nikki or Eve somehow works her way into the match and wins the title, starting a temporary feud with Nikki, moving on to some other people (Alicia, Kelly, etc) and then being destroyed by Kharma. I'm definitely not expecting this to be a full on match where Nikki just retains and that's it - and I'm CERTAINLY not expecting this to be a full match where Beth wins the title back.

PREDICTION: Nikki retains.

PREDICTED MATCHES
I doubt anything else will be added to the card at this point.
