WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS: May 15, 2026
- The show started with The Miz and Kit Wilson picking a fight with Trick Williams and Lil Yachty, leading to Williams beating Miz by pinfall.
- Carmelo Hayes wants to win back the US title. Ricky Saints talked some trash, leading to a match for later, which Hayes won.
- Rey Fenix was speaking to Nick Aldis about being back from AAA. Sami Zayn then talked to Aldis and tried to reposition himself for another US title shot. When he was denied, he flipped out, and Fenix told him he doesn't even recognize him anymore based on how he's acting lately. In another segment, Zayn was venting to Johnny Gargano, who perked up a bit after hearing Zayn talk about how nobody should stop you from being who you are and you shouldn't listen to anyone else.
- Irresistible Forces want Brie Bella and Paige to retain their titles so they can beat them for them at Saturday Night's Main Event. Brie Bella and Paige beat Giulia and Kiana James by pinfall. Later, James and Giulia were arguing backstage, and Tiffany Stratton and Chelsea Green had a reaction to it, with Green still trying to convince Stratton to be her ally.
- Elsewhere in the women's division, Jade Cargill will face Rhea Ripley at Clash in Italy. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair came out to do the blah blah and then beat B-Fab and Michin by disqualification after Cargill got involved. They realized they need Ripley to even the odds, and lo and behold, a six-woman tag team match is booked for SNME.
- R-Truth still wasn't cleared to compete, and he agreed with Damian Priest that it was the right call for him to sit out last week, so he did the same tonight. Truth also tried to recruit Keys to the new version of The Judgment Day that he has with Priest. Meanwhile, Solo Sikoa keeps wanting Keys to join the MFTs, and Tama Tonga keeps having his tension, and Shinsuke Nakamura keeps wanting to repeat the same stuff he keeps repeating, but Talla Tonga attacked him. Sikoa even threatened to send Talla Tonga after Keys if he didn't join the group, but...
- Long story short on the Cody Rhodes and Gunther situation, Nick Aldis said that Gunther wasted his opportunity and would now have to earn it, since he didn't sign the contract last week. This led to Royce Keys trying to position himself as the next challenger instead, leading to a #1 contender's match for the main event, which Gunther won in part due to a distraction from Sikoa, wherein Keys threw a steel chair at him and in doing so, Gunther capitalized. However, Rhodes attacked Gunther from behind and laid him out with a Cross Rhodes.
