WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS: October 3, 2025
- Promo: Cody Rhodes (backed up by Randy Orton) opposite Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed. Blah blah blah. You know how this goes. It's just to remind everyone of their tag team match later.
- Backstage: The Miz is mad at Carmelo Hayes for watching him get pinned last week. Melo says Miz should've kicked out and that he's standing in his way, threatening that he usually shoots first, so Miz should be lucky he hasn't gone after him yet.
- Melo then went out for the US Open Challenge, ready to face Sami Zayn, but The Miz attacked him from behind and laid him out with a Skull Crushing Finale. Aleister Black took the title match instead.
- United States Championship Open Challenge: Sami Zayn (c) defeated Aleister Black by pinfall with some help from a distraction by Damian Priest, who then put Black through the commentary table.
- Backstage: Earlier today, ZaRuca had an interaction with Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre, leading to Nick Aldis making a match for later.
- ZaRuca (Sol Ruca and ZARIA) defeated The Green Regime (Alba Fyre and Chelsea Green) by pinfall.
- Backstage: Cathy Kelley interviewed Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair about ZaRuca's win, praising them for their victory and alluding to a possible tag title match down the line.
- Contract Signing: Tiffany Stratton and Stephanie Vaquer for Crown Jewel is set. Kiana James and Giulia attacked Stratton and offered Vaquer to sign with them. Stratton pulled James out of the ring and Vaquer also fought with Giulia.
- Backstage: Earlier today, Nick Aldis praised Je'Von Evans for his match with Sami Zayn, which Rey Fenix also put over. Los Garza talked some trash about Evans and Fenix, so Aldis put them in a tag team match.
- Je'Von Evans and Rey Fenix defeated Los Garza (Angel and Berto) by pinfall.
- Damian Priest took out Kit Wilson again. I absolutely love these toxic masculinity insane bits they're doing. It's SO absurd.
- Talla Tonga was highlighted for the MFT group. Solo Sikoa says that he loves them, too, but something is missing and when he finds that missing piece, no one will be safe. (Lance Anoa'i? Return of Tama Tonga? Interesting)
- The Wyatt Sicks got into the heads of The Street Profits, who fight for the tag titles next week. Sami Zayn also has another US title open challenge, and Tiffany Stratton will team with Stephanie Vaquer against Giulia and Kiana James, surprise surprise. Damian Priest and Aleister Black will fight in a Last Man Standing match as well. Good card for Perth.
- The Vision (Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed) defeated Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton by pinfall due to interference from Seth Rollins hitting a stomp on Orton.
