WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS: September 5, 2025
- Promo: John Cena. Sami Zayn wants to defend the United States title against Cena to pay him back for Zayn's main roster debut. Brock Lesnar attacked both of them and the referee, so the match ended in a no-contest.
- Carmelo Hayes was trying to get a US title match from Nick Aldis backstage, when The Miz interrupted and asked for them to get a tag title match instead. Aldis said he would take it into consideration.
- Aleister Black defeated Damian Priest by pinfall.
- Women's United States Championship Match: Giulia (c) defeated Michin by pinfall.
- Promo: Becky Lynch (with Seth Rollins in the crowd). CM Punk takes some more slaps and hits from Lynch until AJ Lee made her triumphant return to take her out (hell yeah!)
