WWE RAW RESULTS: September 8, 2025
- You know how every episode starts. The Usos had a promo segment that Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed interrupted. LA Knight also got involved. How about a tag match, playa? That's happening at Wrestlepalooza.
- AJ Styles defeated El Grande Americano by pinfall
- Backstage: Apparently the contract signing between Iyo Sky and Stephanie Vaquer has been cancelled, but Adam Pearce tells Sky that the match is still on for Wrestlepalooza. Nikki Bella comes over for no reason other than to end up getting into a tiff with Asuka, who has a problem with her talking to Sky (for again, no reason). Nikki says Asuka needs to respect her. Asuka wants to beat the respect out of her.
- Raquel Rodriguez defeated Lyra Valkyria by pinfall.
- Backstage: Penta was talking to War Raiders, who have his back whenever. Penta then asked Adam Pearce why he doesn't like him and why he doesn't grant him an Intercontinental Championship match. Rusev interrupts to say "the plan" was for him to beat Rusev and then become champion and that Pearce shouldn't busy himself with clowns. Look at that, we've got a match.
- Backstage: AJ Lee thanks Dragon Lee for having his back. Jimmy Uso says hey to both and asks where Jey is. He instantly finds Jey (of course) and tells him LA Knight needs their back tonight. Jey isn't interested in that. Helping Knight isn't going to get them to Wrestlepalooza or get his world title back. Jimmy says Jey sounds more like Roman Reigns than himself. Jey leaves.
- Promo: AJ Lee talked about her return. Becky Lynch came back and wants her IC title back, since AJ was still in possession of it. Seth Rollins came out for backup and nearly ate a GTS from CM Punk. Lee tossed the title belt back to Lynch after Rollins agreed to a mixed tag team match for Wrestlepalooza.
- Bayley is still struggling with the two sides of her psyche.
- Rusev defeated Penta by pinfall.
- Asuka defeated Nikki Bella by submission.
- Backstage, Dominik Mysterio was warned by Finn Balor and JD McDonagh that El Grande Americano helping out Dom will result in Americano wanting something in return. Dom was annoyed about them saying this and walked off, blaming them that he wouldn't have needed help if they hadn't gotten themselves banned from ringside for his intercontinental title defense.
- After the commercial break, backstage, Asuka told Nikki Bella that what happened to her is what Iyo will do to Stephanie Vaquer. They almost got into a fight until Rhea Ripley stepped in and had some words with Asuka as well.
- Bronson Reed defeated LA Knight by pinfall. Bron Breakker joined Reed in a post-match beating. Jimmy Uso made the save. He came up short, but Jey Uso apparently didn't leave earlier, so he came out to help. Breakker took him out, too, but Knight ultimately sent them packing with a steel chair. This all ended with Jey spearing Knight on purpose (??)
