Welcome to another edition of CALL THE SPOT ON THE CARD, where we present a list of wrestlers and you must choose what place on the WWE Roster Hierarchy they should be put in: 1) Main Event, 2) Upper Midcard, 3) Midcard, 4) Jobber, or 5) Released (or any alternative extra categories that may be added for bigger lists).
The rules are that each spot must be filled and only one person can be in each spot, so no ties can happen, nor can anyone opt out. No matter how difficult it might be, you have to pick.
This edition will focus on the men and women competing in the 2025 Money in the Bank ladder matches.
Since there are six and seven people in these matches, the ranking structure is different for each. The men's will have the Hall of Fame option added above Main Event as the top tier goal as well as Lower Midcard to round things out. The women's match, with only six, will just have Hall of Fame added.
2025 WOMEN'S MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH PARTICIPANTS
Alexa Bliss vs Giulia vs Rhea Ripley vs Roxanne Perez vs Naomi vs Stephanie Vaquer
6) RELEASED = Alexa Bliss
This is an extremely tough call to make, as I don't think any of these women would deserve to be anything less than midcard, and that all of them, at the end of their careers, will likely go into the Hall of Fame. However, if I had to lose any of them from the in-ring roster at this particular moment, I think the one that would do the least damage would be Bliss, mostly because she was absent for quite a while.
I say that as someone who defends her quite often as not getting anywhere near the credit she deserves, and someone who I hope is a first-ballot Hall of Famer. But I can't see her being an effective enhancement talent right now, and three others are just starting out their main roster careers and shouldn't be in that position. This is what makes Call the Spot so hard.
5) JOBBER = Naomi
If anyone's going to job out of this list, it's Naomi. She's more than capable in the ring to pull it off, and she has a character that can take the hit.
4) MIDCARD = Roxanne Perez
Simply put, the others take priority. She's smaller and can be in a lower spot on the totem pole for a moment.
3) UPPER MIDCARD = Giulia
As much promise as Giulia has, she's just been overshadowed by Vaquer.
2) MAIN EVENT = Stephanie Vaquer
Vaquer is awesome. She could win one of the top two titles tomorrow and I'd be down for it.
1) HALL OF FAME = Rhea Ripley
Mami's always on top, right?
2025 MEN'S MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH PARTICIPANTS
Andrade vs El Grande Americano vs LA Knight vs Penta vs Seth Rollins vs Solo Sikoa
6) RELEASED = Andrade
Would you miss him if he were released tomorrow? WWE isn't doing anything fantastic with him. He's yet to really have a memorable feud or storyline or match since his return. Andrade's a good hand, but he's past the point of pushing compared to the others on this list.
5) JOBBER = El Grande Americano
The gimmick's a joke, and even though him winning is part of the point, eventually, that has to turn around. Chad Gable is awesome, though. If he were on this list instead of this mysterious El Grande Americano person, whoever he is, then he'd be higher up. ;)
4) MIDCARD = Solo Sikoa
The man's gone from being the heavy of The Bloodline and the top enforcer to a more comedic character. I'd be surprised if he won a midcard title at this moment, whereas before, he was vying for the world title.
3) UPPER MIDCARD = Penta
This smooth operator has had so much more vibrance to him since joining WWE. Very cool. Make him intercontinental champion or something.
2) MAIN EVENT = LA Knight
Yeah.
1) HALL OF FAME = Seth Rollins
There's no debate about this one. It's self-explanatory.WHO WOULD YOU PUT IN WHICH SPOTS?
