- Edge promises to beat Roman Reigns and become WWE Universal Champion. Backstage, Jimmy Uso tells Paul Heyman that he has Reigns' back.
- Rick Boogs introduces King Nakamura.
- King Nakamura and Big E defeated Apollo Crews and Baron Corbin by pinfall.
- Bayley and Bianca Belair argue about the representation of the SmackDown Women's Championship. Belair confirms she will put her title on the line against Bayley at Money in the Bank in an I Quit match.
- Jimmy Uso shares his concerns for Roman Reigns' welfare to Paul Heyman.
- Last Man Standing Money in the Bank Qualifying Match: Kevin Owens defeated Sami Zayn.
- Rick Boogs takes the piss out of Baron Corbin backstage about no longer being King.
- Sonya Deville announces Zelina Vega as the next SmackDown entrant in the women's Money in the Bank match. Liv Morgan comes out and complains that she hasn't been given a spot.
- Liv Morgan defeated Zelina Vega by pinfall.
- Seth Rollins complains to Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce about not being given the shot against Roman Reigns. He will be added to the men's Money in the Bank match, as long as he can defeat Cesaro next week.
- Otis defeated Angelo Dawkins by pinfall.
- Paul Heyman tells Jimmy Uso to go out and be Main Event Jimmy Uso. He calls Edge out, who comes out and claims Roman Reigns is still using his family. Edge attacks Uso, but Uso is able to momentarily take control. Edge locks in a submission, before hitting a devastating Spear. He locks in the submission again with a chair leg.
