WWE SmackDown Results: December 11, 2020 Highlights Coverage

  • Sasha Banks comes down to the ring, with Adam Pearce acting as the moderator for the contract signing. Carmella has the contract backstage, noting she is ready for any move. Carmella sends her representative down to the ring with the contract, adding Banks' days with the title are numbered, so Banks offers Carmella a shot at her tonight. Banks attacks Carmella's representative to send a message.
  • Kayla Braxton interviews The Street Profits, who are both in a confident mood. Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode insult the SmackDown Tag Team Champions as they come down to the ring.
  • Dolph Ziggler defeated Montez Ford by pinfall.
  • Big E irritates Sami Zayn backstage. Zayn marches to the ring and complains about the lack of respect he receives.
  • Non-Title Match: Sami Zayn defeated Big E by countout.
  • Bayley shows her support for Carmella, adding that Sasha Banks is overrated. Bianca Belair hears Bayley insult her, with the EST of WWE insulting Bayley in return. Bayley storms off in disgust.
  • Carmella tells Kayla Braxton that she is untouchable. Tonight, she will beat Sasha Banks for the SmackDown Women's Championship.
  • A recap of Roman Reigns snapping last week is shown. Jey Uso asks if he and Reigns are good, and Reigns says they are. Kevin Owens comes down to the ring, with Reigns instructing Uso to go and get Owens. The Prizefighter throws a table, ladder and chairs into the ring, addressing Reigns directly. He states he does not fear the WWE Universal Champion, especially as he uses his family to fight his battles. Uso assaults Owens with a chair, but Owens battles back. Reigns comes out to the ring, but he just stares down Owens and leaves, with Owens hobbling to the back as we go to commercial. When we return, Reigns absolutely decimates him backstage, addressing Owens' wife as he tells her to talk sense into her husband.
  • The Riott Squad defeated Billie Kay and Natalya by pinfall.
  • We see a training montage between Chad Gable and Otis. Kayla Braxton asks what brought the pair together, with Gable noting that Otis is resilient. He will mould Otis into a better wrestler.
  • Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Otis and Chad Gable by pinfall.
  • Chad Gable tells Otis he is teaching him what he needs to do in the ring.
  • King Corbin gloats about how he introduced The Knights of the Lone Wolf to even the numbers against the Mysterio family.
  • Carmella defeated Sasha Banks by disqualification. Banks retained the SmackDown Women's Championship.
  • Carmella attacks Sasha Banks post match, smashing a bottle of champagne over her back.
