The WWE Universal Championship has changed hands as Bray Wyatt defeated Braun Strowman to win the title at SummerSlam 2020 on August 23, 2020.
My immediate reaction: Poor Strowman. The guy always kept getting passed over for the title until they had some 11th hour replacement he needed to fill. Then, they basically dawdled until they could just put the belt back on Wyatt and act like the past few months with Goldberg and Braun didn't even happen. That's a shame. It also sucks that the way he dropped the belt wasn't even all that interesting and they didn't pay off half the story. All of this just to get the title on Roman Reigns, I guess.
