TV Results for All Elite Wrestling Wednesday Night Dynamite

  • Dark Order defeated FTR, The Young Bucks, Hangman Adam Page & Kenny Omega by pinfall.
  • Dark Order celebrate their victory on the ramp as we go to commercial.
  • Taz explains that Brian Cage and Ricky Starks are banned from the arena tonight so they cannot interfere in the main event.
  • Jon Moxley explains he has battled demons in his wrestling career. Looking back, he wishes he listened to people when they told him not to compete in certain matches, but he understands why Darby Allin has challenged him for the AEW World Championship. He knows Allin will come at him until he cannot move, but he brings up how he nearly broke Allin's neck when they last competed against each other. Moxley has to do what he has to do, advising Allin to stay down when he needs to stay down.
  • Best Friends defeated Santana & Ortiz by pinfall.
  • MJF shows us his headquarters. MJF acts like a perfect asshole with his staff, noting his campaign is not over until the AEW World Championship is around his waist. He also insults Darby Allin, calling him a 125lb emo kid.
  • Matt Hardy is in the ring to deliver a promo, explaining why he came to AEW. He has been having a blast with his multiple personas, but he listens to the audience who want to see him focus on being himself. He praises Private Party as being incredibly athletic and passionate, whilst adding that Sammy Guevara should have accepted his help. Guevara comes out to attack Hardy, only for Hardy to take control and slam him through a table. Hardy sets up another table, but Guevara battles back and hits a splash through the table. Hardy was busted open with the legs of a steel chair, with Hardy's face looking like an 8 on the Muta Scale.
  • Santana and Ortiz smash up the van belonging to Best Friends.
  • Cody and Matt Cardona defeated John Silver and Alex Reynolds by pinfall.
  • Scorpio Sky indicates to Cody on the ramp after the match that he wants Cody's AEW TNT Championship.
  • Best Friends are aggrieved that Trent's mother's car has been destroyed.
  • Sammy Guevara comes to the ring with flash cards as we go to commercial.
  • Justin Roberts opens up the debate between Chris Jericho and Orange Cassidy, introducing Eric Bischoff as the special guest moderator. This marks the first time he has been on TNT in 20 years. The format is simple, as each wrestler will receive 5 questions each. Orange Cassidy comes out first, shortly followed by The Demogod, who is in a black suit whilst Jake Hager shows off the damaged white jacket. Jericho makes a dig at Cassidy for not dressing for the occasion, which prompts Cassidy to reveal a black tie. Jericho despises Cassidy and the morons who think he is the greatest thing in pro wrestling. Cassidy doesn't answer his initial questions which annoys Jericho greatly. Cassidy answers a question about sea levels which leaves Jericho looking dumbstruck. Cassidy also answers the question about why the rematch next week means so much to each wrestler, noting he cares about beating Jericho in the biggest match of their life. Bischoff awards the debate victory to Cassidy which enrages Jericho, who sets Hager on Cassidy to soften him up for next week. Best Friends arrive to ward off Jericho and Hager as we go to commercial.
  • Tony Schiavone asks Britt Baker to reveal who Big Swole needs to defeat in order to earn a shot at herself. Baker reveals it is Reba who Swole needs to defeat.
  • Big Swole defeated Reba by pinfall.
  • Britt Baker is furious that Big Swole defeated Reba.
  • Jon Moxley defeated Darby Allin by pinfall to retain the AEW World Championship.
  • Jon Moxley congratulates the effort from Darby Allin, whilst MJF is kicking off backstage as we go off the air.
