The WWE United States Championship has changed hands as MVP defeated Apollo Crews to win the title during The Horror Show at Extreme Rules pay-per-view on July 19, 2020.

My immediate reaction: MVP won by forfeit?! Really? There's not any kind of a match whatsoever? How incredibly lame are they booking this show?????

* UPDATE: MVP may not actually even be the champion. It seems there's no official declaration that he won the title by winning the match. You know WWE. The company can't follow its own logic.
