WWE SmackDown Results: July 10, 2020 Highlights Coverage

  • The Miz and John Morrison start SmackDown with Miz TV. Jeff Hardy is the guest this week, with The Charismatic Enigma making his way to the ring. A video package is shown to highlight the feud between Hardy and Sheamus, with The Miz taunting Hardy about the darkness that is within him. Hardy acknowledges he has experienced a tough time recently, but defeating Sheamus would allow him to put his past behind him. The Miz suggests a bar fight between Hardy and Sheamus which Hardy accepts. Hardy finally snaps and takes out both The Miz and Morrison for their attitude to him during the interview.
  • Jeff Hardy defeated The Miz by pinfall.
  • Sheamus raises a glass to Jeff Hardy's win over the titantron.
  • Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura are interviewed backstage, with the pair irritated by the implication that a win tonight over The New Day would be considered an upset.
  • Sasha Banks and Bayley come down to the ring, only for Nikki Cross to attack Bayley in front of the titantron as we cut to commercial.
  • Bayley and Sasha Banks defeated Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross by pinfall.
  • Highlights are shown from Bray Wyatt vs Braun Strowman at Money in the Bank 2020.
  • The New Day are interviewed backstage and highlight the threat posed by Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura tonight.
  • Jey Uso presents the first ever Karaoke Showdown. Lacey Evans performs 'With My Baby Tonight', Dana Brooke performs 'Honky Tonk Man', Tamina performs 'The Game' and Naomi performs 'American Dream'. This was just awful. Naomi is judged to be the winner, but Lacey Evans attacks her before being separated by Uso.
  • Lacey Evans defeated Naomi by disqualification.
  • AJ Styles is interviewed backstage. He ridicules Drew Gulak and Daniel Bryan, noting nobody is worthy enough to step into the ring with him. He is then informed he will be defending his Intercontinental Championship next week against Matt Riddle.
  • The New Day vs Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship went to a no contest.
  • Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura send Kofi Kingston through a table with a prone Big E on top of it to end the show.
