The WWE United States Championship has changed hands as Samoa Joe defeated R-Truth (as well as Andrade and Rey Mysterio in a Fatal 4-Way) to win the title on the March 5, 2019 edition of SmackDown Live.

My immediate reaction: FINALLY. Jeez. It took WWE FOREVER to give Samoa Joe a championship on the main roster. I'm very, very, very happy about this, not just because I wanted him to win a title, but because he's a much better fit for holding a belt going into WrestleMania.
